Now that Madonna has 'fessed up and admitted that her marriage to Guy Ritchie is kaput, it looks like the truth is also leaking out about her rumored romantic relationship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

According to Usmagazine.com, a source close to Madonna reveals that the two "are definitely romantic."

The mole continues, "With or without A-Rod, Madonna and Guy haven't been 'together' for over a year—they have been privately separated. Madonna, however, wanted to finish her world tour before divorcing."

Say one thing about Madge; she's nothing if not calculating.

Meanwhile, a source close to Rodriguez says that the two "are more involved than ever," but the public spotlight has forced them to keep a low profile.

"Alex has really missed spending time with Madonna," the A-Rod insider says. "However, he understands the position Madonna's in."

Heh, heh; no doubt he does.

But it's hard to blame Rodriguez for taking a shine to the graceful diva. She probably makes an ideal partner for push-up contests, and has a lot of advice on how to psyche out opposing pitchers.
