Maniston: Still at It
Despite rumors that he has one foot poised to kick Jennifer Aniston to the curb by Labor Day, emo crooner John Mayer kept up the the pretenses of a deep relationship with the former Friends actress over the weekend.
The pair were spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday night, where they shared a romantic dinner at the hotel’s swanky Polo Lounge, according to OK!
A witness told the mag the famous duo appeared to be “very much in love” and “only had eyes for each other.”
The next day, John and Jen visited her buddies Courteney Cox and David Arquette at their beachside Malibu digs, where they probably spent a quiet night playing Yahtzee and mocking Arquette for his flatlining career.
OK! also quotes a source close to Aniston confirming the two are, in fact, getting serious. “Jen is so cautious about the men she sees,” the source said. “John may be a keeper for a while.”
Of course, it’s also possible that Mayer is merely biding his time while formulating an exit strategy. Perhaps he can use his reportedly generous endowment to rappel from Jen’s bedroom window in the middle of the night.
