The Many Faces of Katherine Heigl: Airport Edition

An actress whose TV character is currently having a romantic relationship with a ghost, Katherine Heigl, 31, was snapped at LAX over the weekend using her face and scarf to express a myriad of emotions.

Katherine was accompanied by her mother, Nancy, as she returned from her Thanksgiving weekend, sans husband Josh Kelley, 28. Maybe he was tired of celebrating her birthday so much and needed alone time.

Nevertheless, the word was that Heigl was having "a bad day" as she alternately hid her face, then smiled at photographers before yelling at them. Maybe she's doing research for a Sybil remake!

"Emotionally fragile" Katherine fixes her mouth in a tired "O" of exhaustion and winds the scarf about her neck as if to shelter her from the cold.

"Shy" Katherine wraps the scarf around the lower half of her face, afraid of the world.

"Happy" Katherine beams as she throws open the scarf as though calling the sun's rays!

Note that Heigl's mother appears to be walking away from her. Does Katherine wax cranky?

The girl is a veritable rollercoaster as all truly great actresses are in their private lives.
