Marcia Cross’ Husband Diagnosed with Cancer
The rep for flame-haired Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has confirmed that the actress’s husband, Tom Mahoney, has been diagnosed with cancer.
“He is currently under treatment and is responding very well,” spokesperson Heidi Slan said to People.
Cross, 46, began dating 50-year-old Mahoney, a stockbroker, in early 2005.
The pair were married in 2006 and their twin daughters Eden and Savannah were born on February 20, 2007.
No further details have been confirmed about Mahoney’s condition.
Previously, Marcia Cross had been the longtime partner of Golden Globe-winning actor Richard Jordan, who starred in such films as Logan’s Run, The Hunt for Red October and Gettysburg.
Jordan passed away in 1993 from a brain tumor. He was 56.
Cross was just becoming famous at that point as a fan favorite on Melrose Place, on which she played Dr. Kimberly Shaw.
