Coffee table book authoress Mary Kate Olsen exited a screening of The Dark Knight in a flurry of tears and designer rags, says Popcrunch. Apparently she couldn’t take seeing reported ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger‘s last performance

“It got to be too much for her,” a source says. “She wanted to go unnoticed but people recognized her and started whispering. She felt really weird.”

Heath’s swan song performance as the Joker is already generating plenty of Oscar buzz.

The source adds that Olsen left only twenty minutes into the screening.

Maybe she’ll have better luck with the DVD.
