Constant traveler Matthew McConaughey took some “me” time and went through his yoga poses on a beach in Malibu, California. His dog BJ kept him company and dug in the sand.

McConaughey, 39, amused onlookers on the beach with his solemn praying poses.

“It was the funniest thing because he looks so serious while he’s doing the yoga. He’s every bit as funny as some of his films. He just doesn’t know it,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Later, McConaughey decked himself out in togs from his own j.k. livin’ label and went for a run on the beach.

McConaughey treated his companion (and mother to his son Levi) Camila Alves to a 27th birthday dinner at Nobu on Thursday night. Pink was among the guests.

But clearly Matthew is a man who is just at home on the beach with his pooch as he is with a night out on the town.
