Megan Fox Denies Tomb Raider Rumor

It's long been rumored that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen vixen Megan Fox is being sought to replace Angelina Jolie in a Tomb Raider sequel, but the action star has ended this talk, stating publicly that no one has contacted her or offered her anything.

"I think that's a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her," Fox said.

The scuttlebutt began when Tomb Raider producer Dan Lin announced that Jolie would not be returning as Lara Croft for a third time in favor of a younger actress that might revitalize the franchise after 2003's Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life earned a feeble $65.7 million.

This announcement, accompanied by the ready-made comparison between the two actresses, has fueled speculation ever since. Until now.

But maybe the producers should consider making Megan an offer. If Fox's career-making work as Transformers' adrenaline-fueled eye candy is any indication, she could bring in big money for the flagging series.

She was eye candy in Transformers, acting talent not needed, Angie has an Oscar so she must be doing something right. Tomb raider without Angie isn't Tomb raider. If you ever played the game you'd know. Angie doesn't pretend to ride a bike she rides, she is what she is... it must be hard for those of you who just can't get over the fact that when it comes to the whole package, Angie beats them all. The ugly ducklings can't help but hate.

i disagree. i think angelina is still the most beautiful woman in the world and no one will ever look like her, megan fox on the other hand..her look can be duplicated by thousands of high school girls (just hang your mouth open like a druggee, be a bitch, and die your hair jet black) she is is no way suited for the laura croft roll, her voice is not commanding enough. its too fake and over sexed

Meagan Fox is one of the most sexiest girls i have ever seen but she doesnt put me in the mind set of a strong herione as lara Croft i would have to say that i think Angie should jus do it or maybe even Hillary Swank could pull it off she has the exact same body as the video game character.
