Megan Fox: “Don’t Call Me Angelina!”
Most women wouldn’t mind if they were constantly being compared to Angelina Jolie. But then, most women aren’t Megan Fox.
The 23-year-old Transformers star opens up in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly about the trials and tribulations of being equated to one of the most desirable women in the world.
“It’s a lack of creativity on the media’s part,” Fox complains. “Because I have tattoos and dark hair and I was in an action movie? That’s as far as the similarities extend.”
As far as being the next Angelina Jolie, Fox says, “I’m not the next anyone.”
Fox is so unlike Jolie, she adds, that she has no desire to even meet her.
“She always seems otherworldly in her power and her confidence,” Fox marvels. “I’m sure she has no idea who I am. But if I were her, I’d be like, ‘Who the f*ck is this little bullsh*t brat who was in Transformers that’s going to be the next me?’ I don’t want to meet her. I’d be embarrassed.”
Oh well, there goes many a male fantasy up in smoke.

I just think that megan fox is so beautiful. I dont think that she hates anyone in her interviews when she talks about men and how they are like sad puppys its only cause, im sure that they act like complete asses in front if her and help themselves. In the case with her and angelina, i strongly believe that she has sooo much respect for her and believes that she should never be compared to anyone like her if her herself has not done anything to the slightest degree that she has.
realistically they compare her to Angelina Jolie for her attitude and her looks because Jolie is not really known for any great acting parts beside Gia and Girl Interrupted Jolie’s film career has not been that great
You’re all idiots. Megan Fox is a hot up and coming star, in the Jessica Alba mold, but way cooler. All the love for Angelina Jolie is hilarious considering she’s starred in the likes of Tomb Raider while adopting kids to live with her and Brad Pitt, who, lest we all forget, engaged in an affair with her while he was married to Jennifer Aniston. I’ve never seen any star get the free pass Jolie and Pitt have. Jolie is overrated, and Pitt is the most arrogant P.O.S. of any big name actor. He can’t interview for sh!t either. I like watching him interview about as much as I like herpes.

In the latest issue of Elle she says that yes she does have the pinup thing going, she isn’t taken seriously because she hasn’t done anything serious yet. “it’s the same ol bullsh*t struggle that anyone whos ever been on the cover of a mens magazine complains of having, my situation is not a new one”. I personally would love to be compared to Angelina Jolie but im not an “actress”. If you want your own career, being the second rate of someone else is not something someone wants. I don’t however understand why we are congratulating women like Megan and Kiera Knightly for being “a breath of fresh air” because they have tattoos or cus a lot. How about an actress who is actually a great actress and a great person? Those women may be both those things but all we focus on is “wow they flaunt their tattoos and cus like men!” I think she’s pretty smart. She focused in on her main market (men) and dove in. She is doing what she has to, but it may end up keeping her there rather then crossing over into a real actress. Marilyn Monroe realized she couldn’t really act but used her sex appeal and lovely demeanor to her advantage and ended up in many movies, but i think Megan actually wants to be taken seriously down the road and that will be the hard part.
