Mel Gibson Says He’s Learned From His Mistakes, Calls Reporter An A-Hole (VIDEO)
Feb 2, 2010 at 5:36pm
Mel Gibson is finally out and about promoting his first flick in forever, Edge Of Darkness, and he’s very eager to let us all know how he’s nice and normal now, past all that “Mayor of Malibu, Sugartits” nastiness of the past. But based on this interview with a Chicago’s WGN TV, it looks like Mel may still be the same old guy who has no self control. When asked about the DUI arrest heard ’round the world, Mad Mel says he’s “moved on” and “learned” from his mistakes and made lots of “my bad” apologies to all the people he offended, then closes out the interview by calling the guy an asshole. Classic.
Behold this amazing interview (via Geekweek) below:

Wonder if that was coffee in his cup or alcohol? Mel is finished!
Mel hasn’t learned anything he is the a**hole. He is pathetic.
he seems to have a short temper
I love all these folks on here that like to cast stones. He was there to talk about his film. The DUI was over a year ago… the interviewer was a jerk. As far as Mel goes, I love his movies they are raw and real..i like him for his acting abilities, i care not about his personal life… You should all be as critical of John Edwards…
yeah i mean really……get over it. let Mel have his time. He was there to talk about his movie not his issues. it was pretty funny though. lol we had kristen stewert on our radio show (I work in radio) last year to promote Adventureland and once the interview was over she said to the jocks “hey guys also thanks for not bringing up twilight” that was awesome. sometimes stars just want to talk about what they have going on now. not other issues.
This news is so overdone. MOVE ON MEDIA! This guy reacts like this because he has been hounded around every corner about something that happened 4 years ago. Qustion is…who doing the hounding? Hmmmmm….Jews?!?!? Take a look at what is happening in Palestine instead of focusing on this sh**. Oh…I forgot, Jews really dont want to put light on how they are placing palestians in camps like they were in WWII. Hypocracy at its best!.
This interview was bogus….his personal life should have no bearing on the ratings of his works or the interviews when he talks about them. He is a great actor….doesn’t matter who he dislikes or pisses off on his own time.
mel’s a great filmaker and actor. The chicago interviewer IS an ***hole, abviously a cabal against poor mel. Good for him in standing up to the nonstop pressure
I think Mel Gibson is not even sorry for what he has done, and for the stupids above defending him, I hope he does not run over one of your family members next time he is drunk as he is now in this interview again!
I think based on his attitude everybody should boycott his movies, until he really apologize for all the s**t he has said and done
The guy was being f*****g rude. Mel Gibson had every right to call the guy an ***hole. I would’ve called the guy an ***hole also! No respect!
If you were on an interview to talk about a movie, how would you like it if the interviewer brought up unpleasant things you had already been through the mill over?? Use your head people most of us would have called him worse. He (interviewer is really a big jerk)

I think he ought to make more movies. He is a real man’s man. Hard to find nowadays. Keeps his movies interesting. No one walks a perfect life or claims to. He’s owned his past. Get over it. Anyone watched “Letterman” lately??
#1. Mel Gibson is a human being. He is not SUPERMAN or a robot set up to say and do ONLY what the public EYE wants him to do. He’s freakin AWESOME and I LOVE him, as an actor. You are either a loyal fan or you’re not.
#2. Most you people… reporters and readers are just as bad on the outside – if not even way UGLIER of a person on the INSIDE. Everyone spouts off at the mouth when heated. And, NO ONE likes being put under a microscope.
Yeah, DUDE, move on!!!
MEL GIBSON IS STILL HOT AND HE ROCKS!
If there is any Beam in that, can I have a sip??? LMAO
People get a life of your own!

~I’d like to see everyone apologize for all the stupid things they have said and done to people or about people. You are not perfect nor are CELEBS! They have a job that puts them in the public eye… it doesn’t mean they have to have approval to act natural. GET THE “you kow what’s” over it!

People are so jealous : )
I CAN’t WAIT to see his new movie!!!
Of course all the Christian nuts blindly defend him.
5 years may seem like a long time ago but Mel hasn’t acted in a film for much longer. The interview had a completely legitimate question. Has the public forgiven him?
I used to be a huge Mel Gibson fan. Now he just looks like another typical Christian hypocrite.
please come to and have a look ———-w w w.fashiongoods.us
Go Mel!
They say he was talking to one of his publicist. He could have had a drink in that cup,he sounded drunk, but I’m spectaculating.I’m a big fan of Mel,I grew up watching his movies.
I think based on his attitude everybody should boycott his movies, until he really apologize for all the s**t he has said and done
Seriously?! You are going to say something that critical and uniformed — maybe you should apologize. For commenting on a situation you clearly have next to no information on. I love the net but I cannot stand people who pile on criticism without even having a clue. Bruno — Mell has apologized for any past issues, Multiple times, sincerely, in print, in person and in interview after interview on TV. Any of those public things were 4 to 5 years ago. If Mel was such an uptight religious bigot, do you think that one of Hollywoods leading and most accomplished and powerful lesbian actresses would come out to publically support Mel at his premiere. (FYI I mean Jody Foster). I agree with Mel, these people should just let him promote his movie and not make every interview now about his past indiscretions. The fact is that what Mel has been publicly caught and publicly apologized for is not nearly as bad as what most of hollywoods elite is guilty of but simply has not been flogged publicly for. The only thing more annoying is seeing folks like you piling on in a mindless echo of media manipulated perspective. Disgusting. Mel is not a saint nor a bad guy. He is movie star who made a movie. most of Mel’s movies have been successful and until Mel took on the jewish establishment in Hollywood his press was uniformly positive. I am not after the Hollywood press either, they are fine. But I cannot abide people that will mindless contribute to an atmosphere of Media lynching.

I am not a christian and I defend him .. by the way I like the name — donkey punch is appropriate for that comment. it describes both the kind of comment and the source from where it came. oh was that insulting. But I guess you should man up since you called all people of one faith “nuts” assuming that it is they who are defending Mel Gibson. And the funniest Irony is that your very comment is not only and insult but bigoted in its assumption which is the main criticism of Mel Gibson comments to a cop when he was pulled over for driving while drunk some years back. Are you drunk? or just bigoted. I will not ask if you are stupid I think that is pretty clear.

Its ok for the media to be out of line. Mel is not finished! Your an idiot

nobody cares what you think, and too many people love him unless your “antisemitc”!!!

WOW, you got the “christian thing ass backwards as most do” YES christians for the most part are dumbed down idiots, I am GNOSTIC. Mel’s personal life is his business he owes no apologies or explantions to any body. If you dont like him or his movies dont see them. People really dont give a @#$ what you think!!!He has stood up for what he believes in and more power to him. Jews have to much control and we need to take it BACK!!!!!!
I agree 100%
YES!!! Finally a person with sense!
