Melissa Rycroft is taking another shot at a lasting relationship.

The Dancing With the Stars alum, who was famously dumped by Jason Mesnick on the most recent season of The Bachelor, is engaged to her boyfriend Ty Strickland, ABC reports.

The 26-year-old Rycroft, who currently serves as special contributor on Good Morning America, announced the good news on Tuesday’s episode.

“Sometimes, the stars align,” Ryrcroft told GMA anchors Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts, “and the clouds part and everything works out the way it should.”

Rycroft met Strickland three years ago at a friend’s party and had dated on and off over the years. The two reconnected after Bachelor contestant Mesnick stepped all over her heart in March.
