Melissa Rycroft Sits One Out

Ahh! That pesky Dancing With The Stars curse is back. 

Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft had to sit out last night’s show, due to a new injury she sustained while practicing her jive for this week’s performance. She is suffering from a rib injury, which doctors have announced is a hairline fracture of one of her ribs.

Because she sat out, the judges scored her by reviewing tapes from her rehearsals with partner Tony Dovolani prior to the show. The same thing happened to contestant Steve-O when he suffered a back injury earlier in the season. 

The pair received a 21 out of 30 for their rehearsal performance, which hopefully keeps them from being eliminated tonight. Rycroft is hoping to continue performing after some rest on her ribs.
