Michael Bay: Megan Fox "Has a Lot Of Growing Up to Do"

Everyone knows Megan Fox has said some outlandish things over the past few months while promoting her new flick Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen, which is absolutely crushing the competition at the box office this summer.

And one quote in particular has upset the movie's director, Michael Bay.

Fox told Entertainment Weekly, "I mean, I can't sh*t on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don't want to blow smoke up people's *ss. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting."

Now, Bay has a thing or two to say back to the 23-year-old actress. He told the Wall Street Journal: "Well, that's Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.'"

He adds, "Nick Cage wasn't a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn't a big movie star before he did Transformers— and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys."

Bay goes on, "Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers," he says. "I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."

Burn! Not good to bite the hand that feeds, Meg.

@Chez - Yes we knew them but were they big actors? no, his movies made them become BIGGER stars... and he's right about that and as for Megan's acting, well she did accomplish in acting sexy, not all girls who look hot can act sexy. :P

She actually said that she's not in more movies because the casting people think she's TOO hot, and they are intimitdated by her. She's too full of herself. All she's good for is eye candy, and only if she doesn't open her mouth to say anything. Once that happens, the illusion is ruined. When will she fade back into the background? She's so 5 minutes ago to bring back an old cliche.

She's right though, this movie isn't about giving amazing acting performances. It's not going to give any of these actors an Oscar. And Bay is talking about putting people in the public eye, not making them better actors. And Megan Fox gave the movie credit for where it took her, and what she gets to do now.

I think that he is right. She has a lot more growing up to do as a person and as a actress. She said it herself, "People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting" which not only makes her look bad but makes her sound stupid.

you guys are all stupid if you really believe he found all those people and made them huge, go do some homework on it and you will realize micheal bay just makes piece of sh*t movies.
