I am a 39 year old female from the US. Michael Jackson had such a huge impact on my childhood...he created his own era...such amazing talent and presence...I found myself crying last night when I heard the news...and then cried again this morning on my way in to work listening to the radio as the DJ played his songs. In losing Michael I have lost (as I'm sure many others feel) an important link to my childhood. I can't believe he's gone... He will be greatly missed and most definitely mourned by his adoring fans. I hold a twinkle of hope that maybe one or both of his children hold some essence of their father within them to bring in a new era of "Jackson" to the world and once again wow and awe us with the level of talent that Michael possessed. A chapter closes...but maybe a new one is just beginning...?

I cant belive it either you are so right i love his songs and i wish he were still alive michael changed my life at first i didnt really care until now he is a great Icon and forever will be R.I.P look at the bright side he is in a better place and hes singing to god! lol oh and he only loved hi fans he were crazy about him he even created the moon walk i love that move dont cry guys he is in a better place. And i miss my brother so much. Actually i did care about his songs im his little sister and I love him and always will be its tough enough on our famiily. he had some great memories and he is still a child inside

Michael you were amazing. There aren't any words in a dictionary to describe how fantastically awesome you were! You were like a part of my family. We owned all you album. On both records players and CD's. We had DVD's of all your concert, books and posters about you. Our hearts couldn't be in anymore pain. We loved you and respect you. Rest in peace my brother. BEST PERFORMER WHO EVER LIVED! I'm sorry for what the world did to you. I think now they can really see what they've lost. Africa sends their regards to the Jackson Family!
