Apparently, deceased King of Pop Michael Jackson's many talents included writing graphic novels.
Publisher's Weekly reports that Fated, a comic book penned by Jackson with Gotham Chopra (son of Deepak Chopra) will be published in hardcover by Random House in June 2010. The story revolves around a Jacko-ish singer, Gabriel Star, who becomes isolated by his fame and attempts to commit suicide.
After the botched effort, Star's celebrity only continues to grow and he discovers that he's becoming "something not quite human," the publisher cryptically notes.
The black and white, small-format volume will be illustrated by Mukesh Singh, who has inked titles such as Devi, Gamekeeper and Jenna Jameson's Shadow Hunter.
