Michael Lohan Caught in the Gossip Swirl

On the same day that Us Weekly claims on its Website to have received an email from Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father told OK! magazine that it's all lies. Allegedly, the email in question has Michael addressing the issue of his elder daughter's relationship with porkpie-hatted deejay Samantha Ronson.

Us says Michael told them Lindsay "is a big girl, and she can make her own life choices. Then it is between her and God," saying that his daughter's romantic connection with Ronson "is evident to anyone with half a brain."

Meanwhile, OK! asserts Papa Lo told them, "I've never even looked at the pictures of Linds and Sam, so how can I comment on this?" and that he has denied any such email was sent. According to OK! he said, "This is just another way of some evil person spreading a vicious rumor to try to hurt my relationship with my daughter Lindsay."

And he's obviously decided that blogging for OK! about the weekly unveilings of Dina's show on E!, Living Lohan, will be the best way to help mend their relationship. Someone give this man his own parenting award.
