Mike Tyson Was Cool With Mel Gibson 'Hangover 2' Cameo
Let the record show: If you steal Mike Tyson's tiger, as the boys of The Hangover did, there will be problems -- but if you find yourself on the bad side of public opinion, as Mel Gibson has, fear not.
Tyson told the NY Post Wednesday that he didn't agree with his castmates -- Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, and Ed Helms -- on dumping Mel's cameo as a Bangkok tattoo artist in Hangover 2, and that he '100 percent' wanted to work with the troubled Oscar winner.
"I'm not going to ever in my life point my finger at anyone. I don't live in a glass house. None of us do. I work with anybody, as long as they're respectful," the retired boxer said.
Tyson is no stranger to comebacks himself. Once known as the "baddest alive," Tyson spent three years in jail after being convicted of rape in 1992, but eventually returned to boxing and won back a portion of his heavyweight title.
"We all have that guy -- a Mel Gibson -- in us," Tyson said. "We just don't want people to be exposed to it. Maybe he needs to go get help. We all need help, and need someone to talk to. I'm not against him, but I'm not for him."
