Miley Cyrus: Bully for Her!
Contrary to public perception, Miley Cyrus‘ life hasn’t been all fluffy puppies, private jets and crotch-grabbin’ underwear-model boyfriends.
The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star’s memoir, Miles to Go, was released yesterday, and it contains a chilling account of Miley’s pre-teen encounter with bullies.
“These were big, tough girls,” Miley recalls of her school days in Tennessee. “I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm.”
At one point, the tweener queen admits, her adversaries—whom she dubbed the Anti-Miley Club—even locked her in her school’s restroom. “They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up.”
The situation came to a head when the girls challenged Cyrus to do battle.
“They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore,” notes Cyrus. “I wasn’t chicken. What could they do to me? I was surrounded by people. I stood up, still a foot shorter then they were, and said, ‘What’s your problem? What did I ever do to you?’”
Absolutely bone-chilling. With experiences like that, one would think that Miley would be acutely sensitive to the discomfort of others. Alas, that doesn’t always seem to be the case.
miley is stuck up now because she’s famous and she thinks she can publicly hate on asians and get away with it. she’s really dumb.
ii totally agree! it took miley cyrus about 3 auditions to get the part of hannah montana. && then once she brings in her daddy, && he sings ”ii want my mullet back” all of a sudden she gets the part. ii used to like her when she first started out ‘cuz she had a deep alto voice && made it work, like me, but then her acting just kept getting worse. she is a HUGE over actor!!! && she thinks that she’s better than everyone else just ‘cuz she was on tv. she wouldn’t be hannah montana if it weren’t for her dad! ii hate it when people let fame get to them. now she’s a spoiled brat!

I can so relate to Miley Cyrus. The same happened to me which started at school, then continued in my workplace, then the entertainment business and most hurtful of all, is jealous within the family and relatives. When finally confronting some of these people later in years, their excuse was JEALOUSY which turned to HATE. They had no talent and resented people who do have talent. She is only 16 yrs old. I hope support from her family and genuine friends stay with her always.

miley cyrus has a horrendous sounding voice. this morning i awoke to a horrible sound; my alarm clock turned z100 on at 7 am. and its miley cryus talking about her tough pre-teen life. now… i dont even know who she is. but listening to her talk and the sentences she could barely put together made me so angry that i hate her now. i mean shes 16, but she seems so uneducated and writing a book about bullies is a way of using her ….’disney fame’ to tell them off. i can’t believe i made an account just for this.
i think miley is awesome, and just because she took a strange photo, doesn’t mean she hates asians. if you took a photo like that, would that mean that you hated asians? or would it get spread throughout the country? NO! so lay off Miley! she is cool! GO MILEY!
