Miley Cyrus Follows Photo Apology with Sushi!

Irony alert: Just hours after apologizing to the world for photos considered insensitive to Asian-Americans, Miley Cyrus ducked out for lunch with pals at a local sushi joint.

The Hannah Montana star doubly shocked Hollywood diners at the hole-in-the-wall joint Sushi Q, walking in with friends and sitting down for lunch, Celebuzz can report.

"The irony was really hard to ignore," one diner says. "First of all, who ever heard of this place. Secondly, this was just after her apology."

"She was with (Hannah co-star) Emily Osment along a with a young man. They were enjoying sushi. They shared a few rolls, dined in. They sat at table chitchatting about nothing without a care in the world."

"Miley was dressed very casually, I'm talking wifebeater and sweatpants. The friends talked even after the place was cleared."

Cyrus has been under fire from Asian-American groups after photos surfaced world-wide of the star with friends making offensive gestures. After one explanatory statement for the photos deemed not-far-enough, Cyrus apologized again today for being "unintentionally hurtful."

Cyrus' statement, posted to her website read: "I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone."

"I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometimes my actions can be unintentionally hurtful. I know everything is a part of GOD’s ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman he aspires me to be," she wrote.
