Miley Cyrus Is Getting Her ‘Wings’
People are really banking on Miley Cyrus these days.
The Hannah Montana star has signed on to star in the movie adaption of the bestselling young-adult novel Wings. The book was published in May and is the first in a series of four books.
Disney has just acquired the rights to the film, which will be produced by Temple Hill partners Marty Bowen and Wick Godfrey, and will be executive-produced by Miley’s mom Tish Cyrus.
According to Variety, Miley will play Laurel, a 15-year-old who grows up sheltered and home-schooled in a small town. She thinks life is hard when she has to adjust to a big high school, but then her suspicion that she’s not like the other kids becomes a reality when she grows a pair of wings and learns that she’s a fairy.
So much for fitting in with her classmates!
Miley is currently shooting The Last Song, the romantic drama that was created for her by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks.

I agree with you. She gets in all these movies. She did good in the Hannah Montanna Movie…but thats who she is. Personally, i think that just because her mom is the Executive Producer, she gets the role… IS HORRIBLE! Laurel is supposed to be short and petiete (check) but pale with white-blonde hair. THAT will not work… Laurel should be ANNA- SHOPHIA ROBB!
