Miley Cyrus Goes OFF on the Paps—Again! (VIDEO)
When it comes to taking the paparazzi to task, Miley Cyrus definitely can’t be tamed these days.
The Hannah Montana star, who last month upbraided the ever-present photogs after enjoying dinner with pal Demi Lovato, has once again gone into finger-wagging mode in her increasingly contentious relationship with the paps.
The most recent run-in occurred on Saturday, when Cyrus told a lensman who’d been trailing her to back off, after she concluded that he’d been driving recklessly in pursuit of her picture.
A sign that Cyrus’ fuse is growing shorter, or a mere continuance of her recent safe-driving campaign? Check out the video below and judge for yourself. You have to give her credit—no matter what your take on the confrontation, she handled the situation better than some of her showbiz cohorts.

I actually agree that she handled the situation really good. I mean she didn’t yell or curse. She didn’t try breaking any cameras, or throwing anything.

People judge her as an entertainer and not as a person. If you judged her as a person you would see that she is very sweet and polite, even when she’s annoyed. Very mature, like the other said. other celebs curse, yell, attack the camera men. All she did was tell them to back off, they are putting her life in danger as well as their own just for a photo. Kuddos to Miley for standing up for self onces again!

she handled the situation very well and VERY maturely! It wasn’t about her being bothered, it was about the man driving dangerously and putting others on the road in harms way. Well, done.
I’ve never been a fan of Miley, but that was actually pretty good. She was calm and non-confrontational. Assertive but not aggressive, as the title may have implied.

I’m constantly amazed at the bad journalism that parades as reporting in these celeblogs. As usual, they miss all the context, deliberately it seems, in a poor attempt to put the celebrity in the worst possible light. In this case, people seem to be seeing through it. For starters, any professional journalist would put this story in the context of the recently enacted paparazzi law in California, which targets paps driving recklessly. Second, Miley in this vid has just been talking to a guy who is pissed off because the pap just cut him off. The victim is in the process of calling the cops on the pap. Miley is warning the pap that the victim is calling the cops on him and and that he should make a fast getaway. She’s doing the pap a favor that might save his job, and she’s scolding him for his dangerous driving at the same time, which put her and the other victim in danger as well as other drivers in the same proximity. How do you get “going off on the paps” out of that scenario?

Miley is so brave. A lot of stars have body guards doing the dirty work, but Miley wants to lead a normal life as much as she can. I Love Miley!

Calling the police is not going to top them I bit. What Miley said, anyone could have said cuz cutting someone off is dangerous. Honestly what she said to that man, I bet it went in one ear and came out the other.

wow. i usually don’t exactly like her but this made me respect her a lot. Very assertive, got the job done, but still polite and patient. More power to her, i will definetly be taking her more seriously from now on.

I completely agree. She didn’t “go off on the paps”. She didn’t walk up to him and day “stop taking pictures, a-hole” or anything of the sort. Its the media twisting it around to make it seem interesting.

I am ridiculously proud :’) No one can deny how maturely Miley handled this, it’s so unfair and frankly disgusting how the paparazzi treat her.

Going “OFF” on paps? I don’t think so! She never yelled once. It was just a firm and to the point statement and also VERY mature. She has every right to do what she did and that’s good of her. :)
