Miley Cyrus' Heart Races—Literally

In her new memoir, Miley Cyrus explains that her heart has a rhythm all its own.

Cyrus reveals in Miles to Go that she has tachycardia, which means that her heart rate exceeds that of a normal resting heart rate, according to the NY Daily News.

"The type of tachycardia I have isn't dangerous. It won't hurt me, but it does bother me. There is never a time onstage when I'm not thinking about my heart," she writes.

Something else that caused Cyrus heart stress was her breakup with "Prince Charming", which she discusses in the book. (Many have interpreted that particular passage to be an obvious, if thinly veiled, reference to Nick Jonas.) The authoress writes that, when they broke up, she wrote her hit single "7 Things" about it.

Despite penning judgemental songs about exes, Cyrus also writes that she tries to be someone for her fans to look up to.

"I try to be a good role model," she writes, "and that's why I think it’s too bad that lots of people hope to make money off my mistakes."

Accelerated rhythm notwithstanding, her heart seems to be in the right place.
