Miley Cyrus’ ‘LOL’ Role: Pot Smoking, Boozing and Girl-on-Girl
Think Miley Cyrus‘ stage moves are just a touch provocative? Just wait until her latest movie comes out.
Hollywood Life has obtained the script for LOL, the adaptation of the French comedy starring Cyrus, Demi Moore and Ashley Greene, and it appears that Cyrus—via her character, Lola, is in for some pretty wild times.
According to Hollywood Life‘s review of the script,
”As Lola—who is described as a ‘teenage Aphrodite, minus the confidence’—the 17-year-old actress loses her virginity, talks about sex incessantly, smokes marijuana, kisses one of her two best female friends on the lips, gets wasted and accidentally shows her mom, Ann, (Demi Moore) her Brazilian wax.”
Meanwhile, Greene’s character, also named Ashley, is “nicknamed ‘The Post It’ because ‘she sticks to every guy.’”
LOL is slated to hit theaters next year—though perhaps the producers should consider a late-night Cinemax release instead.

whats the difference between this movie and the french LOL. Its the same thing but in english. Seriously instead of wasting your money just go and watch the french LOL with english subtitles, atleast those people can actually act.

Here’s the difference between the Kristen/Dakota kiss and the Miley/Whoever kiss. The first two played insparational characters that changed rock ‘n roll history for all the woman out there. The second two are sluts. You catch the difference? That’s why I pick on Miley and not Kristen/Dakota.

I bet you a whole lot she actually does do that in real life.
First of all Miley rocks. Secondly she is real about who she is she doesn’t pretend, she is a fine young Lady. Its just a movie Miley is very grounded. Its interesting how everything she does is criticized she is one of the most Genuine Disney teens she doesn’t pretend to be perfect to please people unlike some other Disney fakers. But I will always say it she is enjoying her teens and finding out who she is because she is honest and she knows she will make mistakes. In the next five years all those who are hating on Miley you will find out whos the pretender and whose really real. Miley God bless you girl.

Actually, Hollywood Life said it was an early version of the script. It could have even been a translation of the original French script. Whatever, Miley would never do anything wrong with her roles, and I am looking forward to the movie.
And I agree with the people who say this is just an acting role. If people want to criticize Miley for whatever she ends up doing in this movie, then we have to be fair and criticize every other actor or actress who has done anything similar. E.g. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman for playing a hooker.

What Rock and Roll history did they change? I don’t see a legacy of woman Rock and Rollers. Where are they? Lita Ford faded fast. Only Pat Benatar is still rocking it, and no younger people have replaced her. And Joan Jett didn’t inspire Pat Benatar, they both started at the same time. So no legacy except her music. I believe Miley is going to move into Rock, so if you respect Rock, than I hope you will come to respect Miley.

I think because they like to change the story a little to suit an American audience. For instance, if the setting of this film is the U.S.A., which seems likely, than the scene of taking baths with your daughters has got to go. That’s not done here. Frankly, Americans in general can be a little prickly about sex and drugs, just as I hear that European audiences can be a little prickly about gratuitous violence. Whatever, I will support Miley in this movie.

Lita Ford ? You’re basing your argument on one rocker ? Joan Jett herself is still rocking it and might I add, amazingly so. Go do a little research before you come and argue on this site, because The Runaways DID change rock ‘n roll history. Before them no girl had performed on stage publicly (speaking of rock). And no, Miley is not going into the rock industry because you usually start out that way. Not start as a disney pop sensation and then change into rock…

l’m a huge miley fan.So l don’t think you should take this film,& all the write-ups,at face value.
Knowing Miley,like l think l do by now,l don’t think miley would take on a rolein a film like this(which goes against all miley believes in),unlessthere was a moral lesson,to be learnt,at the end of the film.
l think Miley,has to take you through the lows,of a Teenage girl,that’s been used & dumped by hefr currant boyfriend.Then goes on a downward spiral,of drink & drugs & falling out with her mom,& her life is at an all time low,& she’s given up caring anymore.Then,with the love,of her mom(played by Demi Moore),Lola (miley cyrus)starts to get her life back on track.Bad girl,comes gd.Obviously,l haven’t seen the film yet,or read the script,but l can easily imagine,that it will be something like that.You need to remember,that miley is just acting out a part.The fact that miley can give you a appearance that she is actually this person,just goes to show,how Talented an actress she really is.Miley is a true professional.So you shouldn’t just focus on the negative parts,but watch the whole story till the final conclution.l think ur wonderful miles.Godbless,hope this film earns you an oscar,it’s long overdue.:)XXX

I’m excited to see this movie! Lets’s admit it, Miley isn’t that great of an actress, but she has great comedic timing. And I’m excited to see Ashley act in something lighter than the Twilight movies.

They DID change rock history because they were the first rock n’ roll females that weren’t afraid to honestly express themselves and weren’t afraid to be sexual. And I don’t think MIley will ever move into rock, at most, she’ll have music like Demi Lovato’s power pop and some rock, she’ll ALWAYS be pop. She said she enjoys making pop music, that and she said “Can’t be Tamed” is suppose to be her last. But she’ll probably make more, all muscians swear to retirement once then start working again.
