Miley Cyrus' Photo Blunder?

Increasingly, it seems, the camera just isn't Miley Cyrus' friend.

Pictures have surfaced on the Internet apparently depicting the 16-year-old 'Hannah Montana' star and her underwear-model boyfriend Justin Gaston stretching their eyelids into slits as they appear to be joking around with friends.

While we can't speak to Miley and Justin's intentions in this photo—if in fact the picture is authentic—the person who posted the pic on Live Journal seems to think there's a derogatory connotation to the pose, judging from the headline's post, "Miley be making fun of the AZN!"

Karen Narasaki, president of the director for the Asian American Justice Center, would seem to agree.

"It's hard to imagine the context where this would be okay," Narasaki tells CELEBUZZ. "It's offensive and disappointing. She' such a role model for young women."

Miley's reps have so far been unavailable for comment on the photo.

This isn't the first time that potentially embarrassing photos have threatened to tarnish the tweener queen's sqeaky-clean image. There was, of course, the topless Vanity Fair photo. And the inappropriately sexy, belly-baring pic of Miley that found its way onto the Web last year.

When we are young we do things we think are "funny". She will learn this is disrespectful to Asian people and to be a little more conscious about her actions.

I believe these pictures are harmless. People just want them to be controversial because she has had history with this kind of stuff. It might be offense to some people, but keep in mind...she probably had no intention in offending people of the asain enthicity considering the male to her left in Asain.
