According to Access Hollywood, if Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell had it her way, Miley Cyrus would be the face of Carrie Bradshaw: The Young Adult Years. The author, who recently signed a deal to create two books about Carrie's tween era, sees the boot-loving singer as the precursor to Manolo-loving Sarah Jessica Parker in the epic saga that is Carrie Bradshaw's life.

Would the Disney star, no stranger to the turmoils of love despite her young years, be interested in playing the columnist before she was glam?

“I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and The City,” Miley told TV Guide last June.

It's good timing for Miley, as Sex and the City: The Movie—Extended Cuts just came out today on DVD and Blu-ray, so she can study up.

Miley's first step? Seeing what Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon wore to the release party.
