Miranda Cosgrove Gets a Case of ‘Cribs’
Good news, Miranda Cosgrove fans!
You’ll get to see even more of the iCarly star next week, when she appears on a special two-hour episode of MTV Cribs.
For those not yet in the know, Nickelodeon’s iCarly follows the adventures, calamities and comedic interludes of one Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove). Carly is that typically shy teenage girl who attempts to achieve world domination through a homegrown web cast.
While living under the guardianship of her 20-something brother, the show’s wily and sweet protagonist grapples with the awkward bits about growing up that afflict every adolescent girl. Plus, Carly deals with the extra confusion that goes along with being a famous teenage icon, much like Miranda Cosgrove herself must feel.
People reports that the 15-year-old up-and-comer will be giving tours of 12 young celebrities’ homes on the first-ever MTV Cribs Celeb Teens Countdown.
“A few weeks ago I got to shoot a special edition of MTV Cribs and I get to count down the top 12 teen homes in Cribs history,” Cosgrove writes on her MySpace page.
The celebrities opening their doors to the teen sensation reportedly include rapper-turned-actor Bow Wow, 21, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, 22, and pop-singer sisters Aly & AJ.
Cosgrove’s edition of Cribs will air Saturday, January 17. Tune in; it totally won’t be jank.
