Miranda Cosgrove Takes Another Step Toward World Domination With New Movie Role
Prepare yourselves, iCarly fans; Miranda Cosgrove is set to show a whole new side of herself on the big screen.
Cosgrove—who's already lending her voice talents to this summer's Despicable Me—is set to take a new turn in another flick, How Can You Do This to Me?, about a teenage girl whose life is thrown into chaos when her divorced parents attempt a reconciliation. The script is currently being written by British authoress/screenwriter Emma Forrest, the scribe behind such young-adult novels as Namedropper and Thin Skin.
Which means the 16-year-old is going to be very busy in the coming months; not only did Cosgrove just release her latest album, Sparks Fly, but last month she signed on to film an additional 26 episodes of iCarly.
Good thing Miranda's also signed on to be a spokesperson for Neutrogena; with that kind of schedule, she's going to need all the help she can get looking fresh.
