Montag and McCain, Together at Last

Hey, look! It’s The Hills‘ breakout sensation Heidi Montag, hanging out in Santa Monica, California, with Meghan McCain, daughter of Republican presidential candidate John McCain!
It’s not as random a hook-up as it might at first seem. Heidi has publicly endorsed Meghan’s father. And Meghan aspires to be a clothing designer—just like Heidi!
But hopefully this meeting signals bigger things. Maybe Heidi can sign on as McCain’s as-yet-unannounced running mate.
They’re truly made for each other. Consider:
- Montag is a self-professed Republican. So is McCain.
- McCain supports the Second Amendment. So does Heidi.
- McCain no doubt prays every night for a victory in November. Montag very well may believe that she’s Jesus Christ incarnate.
- McCain spent five years in a POW camp in Vietnam. Heidi sings as if someone’s jamming bamboo shoots under her fingernails.
Watch out, people; this just might be the ticket to revitalize the Republican party. Or bury it for all eternity.
