Morning Buzz: Justin and Britney Didn't Reunite

E! reports that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake did make appearances at Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" show at LA's Dodgers Stadium last night, but did not appear together on stage. Britney, clad in a white tuxedo shirt and black pants, dueted as expected with Madonna on "Human Nature". And Madonna and Timberlake performed their hit single "4 Minutes" together later in the show. Spears reportedly left Dodgers Stadium as soon as her part of the show was over, and never crossed paths with ex-boyfriend Timberlake.

In a blog post on The Daily Beast, rock singer Melissa Etheridge states that she will not be paying taxes in California since Proposition 8 passed this week. Proposition 8 is an amendment that overturns the Supreme Court's decision in May to allow same-sex marriages in California. "Okay, so I am taking that to mean I do not have to pay my state taxes because I am not a full citizen. I mean that would just be wrong, to make someone pay taxes and not give them the same rights, sounds sort of like that taxation without representation thing from the history books," the openly gay (and married to actress Tammy-Lynn Michaels) Etheridge writes.

Sarah Jessica Parker would not confirm Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall's recent statement on a British talk show that a sequel to the hit SATC movie would film this summer. In a statement to Access Hollywood, Parker says that “I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done. With ‘the wind on our heels,’ we hope to make it a reality."

People reports that disgraced former New York governor Eliot Spitzer will not be criminally charged for his activities with a prostitution ring called Emperor's Club VIP. Spitzer resigned his post in March after only a year and two months in office after it was discovered that he was a regular client. Manhattan US Attorney Michael J Garcia announced the decision yesterday.

E! reports that reclusive comedian Dave Chapelle will host a special 200th edition of A&E's Inside The Actor's Studio by turning the tables and interviewing host James Lipton. Chapelle will discuss the highlights of the 14 seasons of the show with the esteemed interviewer.
