Look at Anna Kournikova, playing her blond, Russian little heart out in the World Team Tennis tournament.
So wonderful, for so many reasons.
The way she firmly grips the racket handle and grunts when she connects with the ball, just to let everyone know that she’s really trying.
The way she makes boyfriend Enrique Iglesias more tolerable to look at just by standing next to him.
The way she makes shilling for Adidas seem so, so sexy.
The way she can get an otherwise dreary day off to a bright start, with a simple photo gallery.

For me Anna Kournikova is a Goddess of a woman. She would fill the tennis courts at Wimbledon in a second with mortal men. Enjoyable as it would be to see her in her tennis skirts, it would be a mistake for her.
