Morning Frills #76: ‘Indian Summer’ Edition

The many hands of Vishnu were no doubt all applauding wildly on Wednesday, as Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2009 stormed New Dehli with a runway show featuring the swimsuit concoctions of designer Sanchita.
The designs, with their playful decorations, were as refreshing as a dip in the river Ganges.
No wonder reincarnation is such a popular concept in India; who wouldn’t want as may lifetimes as possible to gaze upon such lovely sights as these?

i think that talkiong about your period is completely normall.(: every girl has the period &; talking about it with others may help all girls around the worldd.(:
These videos are amazing, my daughters are 10 11 and 13 and none of them has started their periods yet but my youngest ended up watching these videos and is actually quite excited which makes her so much more approachable on the subject of periods and changes.

I think talking to your girls about their periods is an awesome thing. It shows them you care. My girls had the talk at school and came home with some pamphlets so we sat down and talked. I demonstrated to my girls how to use a kotex pad and explained what tampoons were and the problems that come with the embarrassmemt between girls.. alot of girls start at different times and they need to know that its the way their bodies work. We are all different in our own ways.

As a guy, this stuff fascinates me. I love the ads on blogs and on TV. I love learning about the technology and the evolution of these products’ design and development and wonder what these amazing products will be like in 10 or even 20 years from now.
