Ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus isn't the only person that Nick Jonas has been connecting with lately.
Jonas has been logging time in Washington, D.C., this week, stumping for one of his most cherished causes: juvenile diabetes.
OK! Magazine reports that Nick, 16, met with President Barack Obama at the White House for a photo with diabetic children. Jonas—who revealed that he has Type 1 diabetes in 2007—also attended a meeting in the Capitol Hill office of Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) arranged by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Children's Congress.
And on Wednesday, Jonas testified at a Senate hearing for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at the Senate Dirksen Building. During the hearing, Jonas stressed the need for increased federal funding for Type 1 diabetes research.
We have to say; Nick Jonas is nothing if not devoted.
