Never one to back away from a confrontation, Naomi Campbell is known for being a one-woman battering ram when provoked.

But surprisingly, when the 38-year-old supermodel was ambushed by animal rights protesters in Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday, not a single well-manicured hand was raised in a fist.

Campbell was leaving a hotel with billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin, 46, and Bono‘s wife Ali Hewson,47, when activists brandishing signs portraying maimed animals in cages at an Irish fur farm attempted a psychological assault on the testy fashion vixen.

The Daily Mail notes that while Campbell appeared in an anti-fur ad campaign for PETA 11 years ago, she was seen wearing fur on a Milan runway only months later.

After calmly smiling in the midst of today’s incident, Naomi stepped into a car and was taken to Trinity College, Dublin, to speak with the Philosophical Society.
