There must have been a pair of very fatigued storks circling around New York City and West Hollywood, California, these days.

Actress Naomi Watts, 40, strolls with a friend in Manhattan while musical performer Ashlee Simpson, 24, eats for more than one at Kamasaku restaurant.

At least two prominent people in these photos seem long past due in showing themselves. Naomi and Ashlee may be starting a celebrity trend of carrying their babies deep into the fourth trimester.

The delivery, when it comes, will be the first child (or two) for Simpson and her husband, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, 29.

Naomi and co-parent Liev Schreiber, 41, already have 16-month-old son Alexander waiting at home for the new arrival.

But no hurry, ladies.  Mother Nature cannot be rushed.
