Woah! We never pictured Natalie Portman for a granny-panty type of gal.

Fear not, the actress is just on the set of her new film Hesher in Los Angeles. The indie film, which also stars Rainn Wilson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, marks Natalie's debut as a producer, with her new company Handsomecharlie Films.

In the movie, Portman plays a grocery store clerk who gets involved in a family going through a tragedy. She's a quirky, supermarket worker alright. Check out the granny panties, bright green nailpolish, wide-rimmed glasses, and oversized flowered skirt in our gallery.
