Natasha Richardson Suffers Head Injury In Skiing Accident
Tony-awarding winning actress Natasha Richardson, 45, has suffered a serious head injury due to a skiing accident in Canada yesterday.
Richardson, the wife of actor Liam Neeson, was in the accident at the Mont Tremblant winter resort, and initially rushed to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien nearby.
She was transferred to Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal yesterday afternoon at 5 pm. according to People.
Neeson, 56, is currently working on the film Chloe in Toronto and rushed to be by his wife's side.
"Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife’s accident," a rep for the film said in a statement to Canadian TV. "We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family."
Natasha (daughter of veteran actress Vanessa Redgrave) and Liam have been married since 1994, and have two sons - ages 13 and 12.
