Natasha Richardson’s Family Rushes to the Hospital

The family of actress Natasha Richardson, who suffered a serious head injury during a skiing accident in Canada on Monday, has flocked to her bedside at Lenox Hill hospital in New York.

Among the relatives arriving yesterday were Richardson’s mother, Vanessa Redgrave, and her aunt, Lynn Redgrave. Richardson’s sister, Nip/Tuck actress Joely Richardson, arrived at the hospital with Natasha’s 12-year-old son, Daniel. Natasha arrived in New York for treatment with her husband, actor Liam Neeson, via private jet last night.

Richardson’s condition is said to be bleak. A friend of the family claims that there is “no chance” of the 45-year-old actress recovering. “It is a fact that her heart is beating but she is brain dead.”
