Media giant NBC Universal got a jump on the fall TV hype last night with its 2008 Press Tour All-Star Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The party is an opportunity for the media to meet the celebrities who'll be starring in NBC's new programming. Or a fundraiser to provide arms for Marxist guerillas in Central America. Something along those lines.

The star-studded soiree was attended by Heroes' Hayden Panettiere, Debra "Hot Mess" Messing, once-and-future 90210 alum Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott, Friday Night Lights' Minka "Love Dump" Kelly, all-purpose hottie Bar Refaeli and Christian "Mad Dog" Slater. Slater will be starring in a new series, the aptly titled My Own Worst Enemy, come September.

The 2-hour season three premiere airs @ 9PM ET/PT on Monday, Sept. 22. The premiere of the third volume, “Villains," will be preceded by a one-hour clip show of the past two seasons.

NBC has been airing a teaser for featuring HRG (Jack Coleman) talking to Claire (Panettiere) stating, “This was before you were even born, I was finding these people and locking them away so that they couldn’t hurt anybody.
