Las Vegas may be getting its scariest thrill ride yet soon.
E! Online reports that plans are underway to move Michael Jackson's former home, Neverland Ranch, from Santa Barbara, California, to Las Vegas so that it can become Sin City's newest tourist attraction.
Investment firm Colony Capital—which saved the property from the auction block last year—is said to be negotiating with the Jackson estate to uproot the entire property and relocate it, adding a museum, theater, and a burial plot where fans could pay their respects to the fallen King of Pop.
"The idea is to take physically everything that's not part of the dirt and reassemble it in Las Vegas," a source reveals.
Though the Jackson estate is said to be "seriously considering" giving the go-ahead to the project, a rep for the Jackson family commented, "Since it's hypothetical and our firm represents [Katherine Jackson], we can not answer."
Let us know in the comments section: Is this a good idea, and would you visit Neverland if it was relocated to Las Vegas?

I actually really like this idea. I really didn't want Michael buried at Neverland because of his feelings after the raid. Vegas was obviously a place he found happiness & I think his fans, myself included, would like to remember him there.
Maybe they could move it to the outskirts of Vegas, and then turn it into a brothel and the prostitutes could dress us like little boys. SHA-Mone!
LEAVE NEVERLAND RANCH IN LOS OLIVOS! Everyone in the local area except a few rich snobs in Los Olivos WANT Neverland Ranch to open. They think they can play GOD and keep the ranch closed to the public. They harass people and NO ONE here likes them! They have shot down countless new businesses and job creations. They have already made their money and don't care about stimulating the local economy that desperately need jobs. Why do they need SOOO much privacy when the ranches are miles apart from one another? It's because they are making and selling drugs and fimling x-rated animal movies on their ranches. If they want to live in the middle of no where and not be bothered they need to dismantle THEIR OWN ranches and move them to Alaska! Moving the ranch to Vegas, which is a giant pit of debauchery and sleeze, is not suited for Neverland and will only subject families to prostitutes, drunks and other scumbags. Contact www.losolivosca.com and tell these snobs to back off for good!
I think it is sad that they will ship him off to L.V. Daddy Joes home town to make a BUCK his cold dead body. And if you think Daddy Joe won't get his hands on any of that $$ you are sadly mistaken. Daddy Joe didn't respect him in life and now even less in death. Did you see the Red Carpet interview 3 days after his child had died hocking his new adventure? I grieved long when my cat or dog died. What a Daddy Joe.
WOw!! I like it alot! Been there and i´ll definitely go back to see everland and remember Michael. I´m g tting excited!! =0)
TIcked Off- YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
I think someone like Jermaine should take on the job and turn Neverland into a place where fans old and new can visit, pay respects and remember the king of pop. It would be a great place for a museum, theater and a carnival ride or two. Las Vegas would ruin Neverland, as anyone can see vegas is turning more Adult and doesn't want family type attractions. Please keep Neverland in Los Olivos!
I think it is a HORRIBLE idea!!! Neverland isn't about the buildings, for God's sake! So much of its beauty is the nature that surrounds it. What about Michael's giving tree? How the hell are you gonna move that? It won't be Neverland in Las Vegas, and I won't go if they move it there. Neverland should stay where it is!
kH402N I want to say - thank you for this!
