New Moon Already Breaking Records!

Have you landed New Moon tickets for opening weekend yet?

If not, you're probably the only one!

PR Newswire is reporting that the second Twilight flick now holds the #1 spot at Fandango.com for Advanced Ticket sales, beating out some oteer very successful movies New Moon has become the top-selling pre-release in the company's 10-year history. The record was set on Saturday night, November 14, shortly after 8:00 p.m.

Now, the Top 5 Advance Ticket-Sellers on Fandango are:

       1. New Moon (2009)
       2. Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005)
       3. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
       4. The Dark Knight (2008)
       5. Twilight (2008)

The website also took a recent survey of more than 2,000 New Moon ticket-buyers and calculated these facts:

    * 98% say the action in New Moon looks better than the action in Twilight.

    * 72% plan to see the movie with a group of three friends or more.

    * 52% of survey respondents say they dream about vampires.

    * 22% are mothers and daughters planning to see New Moon together.

    * 10% plan to show up at the theater in costume, dressed as characters from the saga.

Only four more days! Who's excited?!

got my tickets haha hopefully all the dumb screaming preteens will still be in school at 12 noon. Unless their parents are dumb enough to take them out for a movie!

i think people are going way to far with this twilight thing. people are making a bigger deal about new moon then they did about dark knight and michael jackson's this is it. i think that twilight is an okay series, but the media has hyped the movie and the characters up so much and for so long that im almost sick of the whole entire thing al together. it is not acceptable to pull children out of school just to see a movie. this is why europe is always laughing at us when it comes to education. its scare that 52 % of people dream about vampires. people are so impressionable that its pathetic. PEOPLE, THIS sh*t IS JUST FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT AND ENTERTAINMENT, AND ISN'T TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY.

It seems you're the one who is taking it too seriously - berating people who are enjoying something in life. You're more than welcome not to join in the craziness, but you're not welcome to judge those who want to be part of it.

please people, if you are going to make claims against somebodies comments then back that sh*t up. how the hell i am i taking this sh*t literally? i never sad there was anything wrong with liking twilight you idiot. I LIKE TWILIGHT. IM GOING TO SEE THE MOVIE MYSELF YOU DUMB ASS. all i said it that people are taking it way to seriously. may i advise that you read thoroughly before attacking someones opinion. i don't have a problem with people enjoying anything ( as a matter of fact i never said anything like that in my comment).
