The Twilight series is really doing wonders for everyone involved, even an actor who have been in the business for a while like Michael Sheen.
The Frost/Nixon actor, who plays Volturi clan head Aro in New Moon, is rumored to be joining the cast of the next James Bond flick, due out in 2011.
Sheen would be playing famed Bond villain Ernst Stavros Blofeld, who has appeared in six of the flicks and has been portrayed by Donald Pleasence, Telly Savalas and Charles Gray. The villain last appeared in 1983's Never Say Never Again.
The source says, "Michael is hot property right now and it’s felt he’s the man to bring Blofeld back to life."
He added, "Michael was a Bond fan in his youth, so this would be a dream role for him."
Sheen might have the inside track in the role. Frost/Nixon screenwriter Peter Morgan will be co-penning the script for the flick, along with veteran Bond scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
