New ‘New Moon’ Footage to Debut at VMAs

Brace yourselves, Twi-hards; MTV.com reports that this year’s Video Music Awards will include the debut of brand-new, never-before-seen footage from Twilight sequel New Moon—and Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be on hand to present it.
On that same day, MTV will debut the Death Cab for Cutie song “Meet Me on the Equinox,” which will be the first single from the New Moon soundtrack.
Not too shabby at all.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air on September 13.

I don’t care if you misspell a word. You are, as you say, twelve years old. (I am a writer, it is my job to get that stuff correct). You are right, you should get out there and have fun. And the reason I am not invited to sleepovers anymore is because I am nearly 30. I enjoy the series, I think they are fun books and cute movies.
I used to be the manager of a kids/teen bookstore and I met Stephenie Meyers shortly after the first book came out when she was on tour (I have my signed, personalized first edition on my top shelf. No one may touch it. Or look at it too hard. Hehe). So I have been a fan for a number of years. But I think we are all getting far too sucked into this world. And you will note, that I did not insult you. I said nothing about you as a person. Because I don’t know you. And you don’t know me. Which is kind of the point.
And perhaps you are right. Maybe I will be a horrible, nasty, despicable, fat, stinky, bad breath old mother. But I assure you that has nothing to do with Twilight or my bruising of your ego. Just pick your own things. Don’t obsess over boys – there will be plenty of time for heartbreak later.

I like Robert Pattinson a great deal – as an actor. All I am saying is that none of us know this man AS a man. We know his pulic figure. We don’t know who he is. (And no, I do not share that information over the internet. My pen name is what I am known by). But I would never do such a thing. There is no need to be horrible and judgmental. We disagree, but we don’t have to fight. And you are a child. I will not make fun of a child. EVER. You do not have to like me (though I don’t know how you can make a decision, you don’t know me), but you should know that life will provide you with more and more people you don’t like or agree with as you get older. And most will not be as forgiving and kind as I am.
