Each year the Met Gala brings us the best and, more entertainingly, the worst in celebrity haute couture. This year’s punk theme promised some major misses and, oh boy, did our favorite famous people ever deliver.

There were quite a few runners-up. Cameron Diaz‘s odd cape and Vera Wang‘s self-censored nightmare nearly made the list. But alas, they were topped by these ten truly terrible ensembles.

From London Town to New York City, Hollywood’s finest have been keeping busy all over the world.

Gisele Bundchen was spotted hard at work on the set of a new H&M fashion campaign in the UK. The 32-year-old mother-of-two modeled a cream sweater, olive green pants and a conductor hat during the shoot.

Elsewhere in London, Channing Tatum and his pregnant wife Jenna Dewan were spotted on separate outings. Tatum, who’s been in town filming Jupiter Ascending, went for a jog with his dog while Dewan, due this summer, took a stroll in the sunshine on Hampstead Heath.

Stateside, Katy Perry looked lovely in a dark floral print dress while out in New York City. The night before, the “Firework” singer got all dressed up for a gathering celebrating Miuccia Prada’s designs for The Great Gatsby film. Perry’s fashion-filled week will continue on Monday, when she hits the red carpet for the annual Met Gala.

In other sightings, Hilary Duff brought a splash of pink during a visit to The Today Show, Khloe Kardashian sat courtside as her hubby Lamar Odom and the L.A. Clippers took on the Memphis Grizzlies during a playoff game and Lena Dunham filmed new scenes for her hit HBO show Girls.

When it comes to fitness, HBO’s Girls star Allison Williams says it’s all in the genes.

“My mother is someone I grew up with, who is very nutritional in the way that she ate,” Williams, the new spokesperson for Simple Skincare, told Celebuzz. ”And she is always someone who believes there should be a fruit and a protein, and veggies, and the balanced meal. I definitely inherited that from her.”

The 24-year-old actress credits her mother, TV journalist Jane Williams, for her exercise routine. “She’s always been a manic exerciser, in a very yogic sense,” she said.

“She loves doing yoga and pilates and things like that, so I grew up appreciating cardio and also just muscular exercise type things.”

Since this healthy lifestyle was something that Williams practiced long before she starred on the HBO series, she said she never feels pressure from Hollywood to stay fit.

“This is something I’ve had in my system for a long time. The thing that I haven’t had forever is those other stressors that weren’t part of my life until recently, like wearing makeup everyday or just the speed of my life, flying in planes as frequently as I do now,” the Manhattan native said.  ”They’re all manifests of a very exciting thing, but they’re all new to my life.”

Elisha Cuthbert is the most beautiful woman on television, but the Canadian actress thinks it’s a “crazy” honor.

Maxim made the big announcement this week, along with the release of its stunning cover featuring the 30-year-old star in a purple swimsuit. (Look closely and you can also spot her giant rock from hockey player fiancé Dion Phaneuf).

“To think that one person could be the most beautiful when there’s Kaley Cuoco, Sofia Vergara, Zooey Deschanel? They’re all stunning. I’m not gonna fight anyone about it, though. I’ll accept it with grace,” Cuthbert told the magazine. “But being on a show with two other beautiful women, this is gonna make going to work very uncomfortable. I don’t know, this might be a curse.”

Curses aside, the Happy Endings star does make a good point. With all the gorgeous faces on the small screen these days, Maxim must have had a tough decision when it came to crowning the most beautiful actress of them all.

Nice sentiment but, you know, a little awkward.”

John Mayer won’t be alongside girlfriend of six months Katy Perry for Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Instead, the “Wide Awake” singer is opting to take her her BFF, Girls star Allison Williams.

Williams confirmed her sexy date to Anderson Cooper on Thursday’s Anderson Live!.

“I am going to the Grammys and Katy Perry is my date,” she admitted. “She’s the hottest date.”

So what brought the two brunette beauties together?

“She’s a friend of mine and she’s nominated, as she should be. I can’t wait to go. Obviously she’s awesome.” Williams added. “She’s the best.”

The two ladies have gotten close since Williams started dating Mayer’s pal, College Humor founder Ricky Van Veen.

Her Girls character Marnie Michaels may be a bit on the conservative side on the hit HBO series, but actress Allison Williams isn’t afraid to bare her bod.

While vacationing in Miami this weekend, the 24-year-old was spotted kicking back in a black bikini as she relaxed by the pool of her resort. Sporting a matching large brimmed hat, the breakout star was all smiles as she caught some rays in the sun.

But as much as she’s comfortable with showing skin, there is one thing that makes Williams cringe: watching her sex scenes with her family — including her famous father, NBC anchor Brian Williams.

On a recent episode of Chelsea Lately, the actress admitted she had to prepare her family before they viewed her character’s most-recent graphic encounter, where Marnie had awkward sex with a gay man (Book of Mormon‘s Andrew Rannells).

“People are vomiting in their chairs,” she told talk show host Chelsea Handler.

Well, hopefully her family won’t have trouble with these photos.

On Monday night’s Chelsea Lately, Girls star Allison Williams admitted that she’s watched every single sex scene she’s done on the show (and there have been quite a few) with her entire family — including her famous father, NBC anchor Brian Williams.

The 25-year-old didn’t even shield them from her most-recent graphic encounter where William’s character, Marnie, had awkward sex with a gay man (Book of Mormon‘s Andrew Rannells), a scene that was so uncomfortable to watch that Chelsea Handler specifically asked about it.

Handler said, ”That’s weird. And it would be weirder to watch with your dad.”

To which Williams bluntly replied, “Which I did.”

Williams explained that she preps her family in advance for each scene, giving them the most technical explanation she can to prepare them and try to eliminate the “weirdness.”

But even with all that prep work, her family still has trouble stomaching the scenes: “People are vomiting in their chairs,” she said. Well, hopefully that means that she’s doing her job well. The scenes are just that realistic.

The show’s creator and star rocked a strapless Valentino jumpsuit to the show’s official premiere in New York City last week, where she talked about moving outside her fashion comfort zone.

“I didn’t think I could get away with [wearing it] because jumpsuit seems like such a dirty word,” Dunham told PEOPLE. “But people are acting like it’s a normal thing to do, so I’m just rolling with it.”

Channeling a more modern, minimalist vibe, Zosia Mamet (aka Shapiro) gravitates toward menswear-inspired styles and lot’s of black. Mamet’s style opposite, Jemima Kirke rocks a more urban-bohemian style that isn’t too different from her character Jessa. The new mom opts for long, breezier styles on the red carpet and hippie-inspired accessories.

Sienna Miller chopped her boho waves and switched up her style to play her fashion icon Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl, and Lindsay Lohan didn’t hesitate to throw on a black wig (and lot’s of jewels) to play her idol Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s Liz and Dick.

Playing the part of fashion royalty, Aussie besties Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts have both transformed into posh princesses of the past for upcoming roles. A style icon herself, Kidman was an easy choice to play actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly, while it’s eerie how much Watts resembled the late Princess Diana while filming scenes for an upcoming movie on the Princess of Wales.

Even fashion icon-in-training Williams has gotten a chance to play dress up in a fashion legend’s closet. The Girls star channeled Catherine Deneuve’s sultry sophistication for the most recent issue of Page Six Magazine.

It was another stylish night for Hollywood’s starlets last night, who showed off another round of fashionable holiday looks.

Reese Witherspoon showed off her slimmed-down post-baby figure (just ten weeks after giving birth, no less!) in an Elie Saab LBD with nude and black lace panels at a charity event. She paired the on-trend look with black pointy-toe pumps and a bright pink pout for a festive touch.

Also sporting nude and black lace again, Kristen Stewart countered Witherspoon’s classic version by putting her own cool-girl spin on trend in a black-and-nude shorts jumpsuit, black Barbara Bui booties and tousled updo for a screening of On the Road.

Modeling another big trend for the holiday season, Alexis Bledel, Fergie and Allison Williams all got into the holiday spirit, donning red-hot styles at different events.

Putting a glam spin on crimson, Fergie donned a sparkly red Monique Lhuillier mini dress, while Williams’ went for a three-quarter hemline in a sparkly L’Wren Scott black-and-red zigzag sheath.

Richer shades of purple also had a big night, with Zoe Saldana donning a deep purple Giambattista Valli belted dress, and Alice Eve popping in a plum sheath.

Showing us how to work pastels in winter, Amanda Seyfried took a break from promoting Les Miserables to attend a charity gala in London. After her dramatic black-and-white look at the film’s London premiere, she went with softer look in a watercolor Alexander McQueen gown.

Fashion A-listers started their holiday shopping last night at the star-studded launch party for the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection in New York City last night.

Kate Bosworth, Allison Williams, Leighton Meester, Zoe Saldana were among the celebs that joined the stylish crowd for the chance to shop the array of gifts designed by 24 of the CFDA’s hottest designers — including Thakoon, Rag & Bone, DVF, Tory Burch, and more — before the collection hits stores on Dec. 1.

What did everyone wear — and more importantly, what did they scoop up for their gift list?

Modeling a Jason Wu clutch from the collaboration, Bosworth looked incredibly chic in a winter-white Pucci peplum shift and sleek strands as she posed with Williams and Saldana, who also modeled items from the holiday line.

The chic trio didn’t wait long to start shopping the collection — which includes everything from a DVF-designed yoga mat, pet gifts by Oscar de la Renta, and holiday wear by Rag and Bone, Thakoon, and more.

Also on-hand to support her designer pals and get a head start on her holiday shopping, Victoria Secret model Karlie Kloss paired her new wavy bob with a star-embellished LBD and black extras. Meester showed off a new short ‘do as well, which she paired with an emerald shift and bright red lips for the event.

On the other end of the spectrum, Girls‘ Allison Williams went with another long lace gown in a pastel hue that lent a romantic feel to the elegant silhouette.

From architectural peplums and cutout bodices to textured skirts and a lace mash-up, no one played it safe at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.

Last night’s leading ladies amped up their red carpet style for the euphoria Calvin-Klein-sponsored event in New York City, giving the season’s top trends an edgy spin.

Modern construction and tons of texture were the night’s big trends, but no two styles were alike, with Allison Williams, Amy Adams, Marion Cotillard and Emily Blunt all rocking unique, but equally eye-catching, looks.

Though she went with a Giorgia Armani LBD, Adams’ peplum midi-dress was anything but basic. An architectural bodice with an asymmetrical neckline added edge to the ladylike silhouette.

Also switching up her signature style, Blunt showed off her new honey-kissed strands in a sexier dress than we’re accustomed to seeing her wear. The Devil Wears Prada star gave the winter white trend a modern update, donning a strapless Calvin Klein dress with a cutout bodice.

Sticking to more classic silhouettes, Cotillard and Williams played with texture instead. Cotillard’s Christian Dior Couture dress paired a double-breasted bodice with a dramatic feathered skirt for an elegant lesson in contrasts.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Williams put a dramatic spin on the season’s colored lace, with an intricate hot pink and black lace design framing the blush point d’esprit lace gown.

Earlier this week, HBO released a teaser for the second season of Girls, but little was revealed on what’s in store for the show’s leading ladies.

On Saturday, Celebuzz caught up with Allison Williams, who will return as Marnie Michaels when the new season premieres in January.

“Let’s see, what I can say without giving anything away . . . I’d say that each of the girls are on a walkabout,” Williams told us at the BAFTA TV Tea event in West Hollywood.

As for her costar and show creator Lena Dunham, Williams remains one of her biggest fans. Dunham is nominated for four Primetime Emmy awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

“I’m so happy for Lena. She is the brains behind the entire outfit. She’s amazing,” Williams said.

We also asked Williams if she has any plans to make more ‘Funny or Die’ Kate Middleton videos in the future.

In 2011, Williams wrote and starred as the Duchess of Cambridge in a series of sketches for the comedy website.

“I’m not going to close the door on that because I had so much fun playing her . . . I don’t want to put any pressure on her to have any major life events, but if something really amazing happened, we might have to cover it,” Williams told us.

“No pressure, Kate.”
