She’s ready for bikini season.

Following the footsteps of BFF Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, former Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese is turning her life around and working hard to stay in shape.

On Wednesday, the 26-year-old took to her Twitter to show off her new figure, posting several snapshots of herself clad in a variety of barely-there swimsuits.

“Almost Aruba ready! Couple more weeks to go! Couple more pounds to lose,” she wrote alongside one of the photos.

According to the self-proclaimed “Blast In A Glass,” she lost a whopping 15 pounds since her MTV show ended after late last year.

“I’ll be honest, I indulged — and I still indulge but I just have to watch what I eat,” she told Celebuzz about the weight-loss. “I try not to eat after a certain time. I just try to keep it steady.”

“That all I could do,” she added. “I struggle all the time with my weight because I’m short and curvy.”

As blizzard Nemo blasts across the East Coast, Hollywood is bracing for what could be a record-breaking whiteout.

Whether its sending well-wishes to those in its path, bemoaning thwarted travel plans, or quipping about the name Nemo — he’s finally be found! — celebrities are turning to Twitter as they wrap their head around the snowstorm that threatening to wreak havoc in wake of Superstorm Sandy.

While many New Yorkers brave the snowflakes for the sake of Fashion Week — from Heidi Klum, to Michael Kors, to Peter Facinelli — others in the Tri-state area are hunkering down in the warmth of their homes, from Ashley Greene in Manhattan to Nicole “Snooki” Polizziin New Jersey.

But NYFW isn’t the only show that must go on. Justin Bieber, who is slated for double-duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, rose bright-and-early Friday for rehearsals in NBC’s Big Apple studio. “up real early today…and now a blizzard is coming,” he tweeted. “no issue. Im Canadian.”

Just three years ago, MTV brought together eight unknown twentysomethings, shacked them up in the summer-getaway spot of Seaside Heights, N.J., and let the cameras roll.

Now after record-setting success as the network’s most-viewed series ever, The Jersey Shore is in its sixth and final season. With this end of an era, what will happen to the show’s fist-pumping, club-hopping cast when the small screen goes to black?

“The future for the Jersey Shore stars, just like for most reality stars, is fairly dim,” says Stacy Jones, CEO of Hollywood Branded Inc. “Their appeal and overall public interest will fizzle unless each cast member can manage to keep themselves relevant. Let’s face it, reality TV shows and stars come and go, and the Jersey Shore stars have had more than their share of 15 minutes of fame. Their time of partying must come to an end.”

Is there a chance the castmates can extend that quarter hour in the limelight?

Perhaps. But not all of the Jersey Shore stars are made equal — Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino stand out amongst the rest. “Snooki and The Situation are the big personalities within the group, and the others are very much so in the background,” explains Jones. “[They] have the ability to make a splash or a scene wherever they go.”

Snooki has already catapulted her small-screen fame into a successful brand: The reality star published three books (including New York Times bestseller, A Shore Thing), landed a spinoff series with BFF Jenni “JWoww” Farley, appeared in 2012’s The Three Stooges, threw punches on WWE Raw, and has been parodied throughout pop culture, on shows such as South Park and Saturday Night Live. And just seven weeks ago, the former party girl became a mom when she welcomed her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, son Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. And motherhood opens up a world of opportunity for the MTV star.

“I think Snooki will ultimately do a lot better than The Situation because she had a baby,” reveals pop culture expert Jo Piazza. “Because she had a baby, she can completely re-brand herself and push herself into this different tier of lasting reality stars.” Now, “she is going to do a book about the baby, do a show about the baby, and do all the endorsements around the baby. I think Snooki will ultimately get another series on Lifetime or Oxygen about her being a new mom.”

But will a polished-up Snooki still pull in viewers? “As a mother, she cannot get away with the antics that made her who she is,” says Jones. “This new Snooki could be boring, or she could be the next Jessica Simpson, who made a likeable name for herself with a string of ditzy quotes like, ‘is Chicken of the Sea chicken or tuna?’, or Nicole Richie who founded a fashion line, or Bethenny Frankel, queen of SkinnyGirl.”

“For the Situation to stay relevant, he has to do something major in his personal life,” Piazza explains. “Reality stars have to keep inventing new news because they’re not starring in movies and they’re not releasing CDs. That’s not how the news cycle is built around them. Their personal lives have to become the news, and the things that drive news cycles for reality stars are babies, marriages, divorces and rehab.”

The Situation has already hit headlines for rehab, after the beefed-up star sought treatment for prescription-medication addiction earlier this year. So what move might keep The Sitch in the public eye? “I think the next step for him — the only step for him — is getting married,” Piazza says. “He’s going to have to get engaged and get married and he can capitalize on that wedding and it will keep him relevant.” But has The Situation been pigeonholed into his Jersey Shore out-of-control party persona? “It’s still unclear how this new Michael Sorrentino will live up to the expectations of his followers,” Jones acknowledges. “In his case, his popularity is more so based on his crash and burn – and the more he rights himself, the less he may appeal.”

But Snooki and The Situation are not the only Shore stars branching out. After MTV thrust him into the American consciousness, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio maximized on his moment in the spotlight to propel his blossoming DJ career. “Pauly D has gotten himself well established within the Vegas party and touring DJ community – one that is chock full of the younger generation that will help him continue to be popular,” says Jones. “While he might have the most legitimate career of all of the cast members,” she adds, his spinoff, The Pauly D Project, may struggles in the reality-show ratings race. “Is he a strong enough character to support a spinoff? He’s going to need some support casting help as he might be the Joey Tribbiani (of Friends) of this cast.”

As for the other members of the Seaside Heights house — Vinny Guadagnino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Nicole Cortese,  Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro — fame may be fleeting. “I’m a little worried that [they] are in for a wave of pain,” reveals Piazza. “I think they will just disappear. That’s what we’ve seen with each reality cycle.” While a few break-out personalities manage, the “second tier of people keep trying really hard…and then they kind of fizzle into obscurity.”

Despite the odds stacked so heavily against them, the Jersey Shore stars are staying full-speed ahead with their careers. “I want to continue with my DJ career,” DelVecchio told Celebuzzat the show’s season six premiere party in New York City. “I got some headphones that came out, my cocktail came out, REMIX, and I’m working on an album right now with 50 Cent and we have an energy shot, Street Kings.”

A few even would like to forgo reality television for scripted shows. “I would like to do acting,” Ortiz-Magro gushed. “Reality TV is something that I’m never going to shut down, but I feel like on Jersey Shore I showed so much of Ronnie that I would like to act…. I think that’s something I would enjoy a lot more.” It’s an aspiration that Guadagnino shares. “I see myself on some really successful TV show somewhere,” he said, adding that he even envisions “winning an Oscar.” And Cortese is angling to do “voice-overs for cartoons,” she revealed. “I’ve been doing voice lessons. I see myself as like a cute little character…on Nickelodeon or Disney.”

Not all of the cast is clinging to fame, though. “As long as I’m happy, successful, and doing what I love to do, that’s really all that matters to me,” said Giancola. For newly-engaged Farley, the future is about family with fiancé Roger Mathews, revealing her hopes to be “married with two kids” in five years. That might be the more ideal path, given that “the shelf life for fame has just gotten so truncated with the 24-hour news cycle,” explains Piazza.

But there may still be a chance for the career-minded Jersey Shore stars to preserve their spotlight. “Reality stars who have TV series end need a team of supporters to help them stay [relevant],” explains Jones. ”This means ensuring their publicists and managers continue to help them find ways to be in the public eye. [And] if they wish to leave the TV world and re-brand themselves, they will need a make-under.” Her advice? “Tone down the big attitudes, fall off the map a bit, stop tanning, and redirect their lives with some real ambition. It won’t be easy, but it can be done.”

No matter what’s on the horizon for the MTV stars, one this is for sure: Jersey Shore is going to its grave. “They have had a place in all of our hearts for years now,” admits Piazza, “but America’s attention span is really short. So America will replace the Jersey Shore stars very quickly. We’re waiting to see what is the next big reality hit. And those people are going to come in and swoop in on the Jersey Shore cast’s fame just as quickly as Kim Kardashian swooped in on Paris Hilton.”

Well, there you have it — Jersey Shore is the new Paris Hilton.

When Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi announced her pregnancy, the world waited with bated breath to see how Jersey Shore‘s fist-pumping, pint-sized party girl would fair as a mother.

Now just six weeks after she and fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed son Lorenzo Dominic, the verdict is in. “She’s a great mother,” Vinny Guadagnino told Celebuzz at the show’s season six premiere party in New York City. “She totally turned her life around. And the baby is adorable.”

That’s a sentiment many of Snooki’s MTV castmates shared. “She is awesome [and] rocks as a mother,” gushed Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

“It just came naturally to her,” added Deena Nicole Cortese. “She’s doing great as a mother…and Jionni’s an awesome dad.”

And how’s their bundle of joy?

“Baby Lorenzo is adorable,” Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio said with a smile. “He came out with a full set of hair, tan and everything. [Snooki] is a really caring person so…she will be a great mother.”

Newly-engaged Jenni “JWOWW” Farley — who beamed with pride as she posed with her brand-new diamond bauble on the red carpet — is in awe of how much her “best friend” has matured in her new role. “I mean, it’s Snooki from the Jersey Shore,” she explained, “and now she’s one of the best mothers I have ever gotten to meet… She is beautiful, she’s healthy.”

“It’s an amazing transformation,” added Farley’s fiancé Roger Mathews. “It really is.”

And as for Snooki’s little meatball? Farley rejoiced, “Baby Lorenzo is the most gorgeous baby…we both have ever met.”

Guidettes just wanna have fun!

Jersey Shore stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Cortese soaked up the sun, sand, and surf this Friday when the pair indulged in a girls’ day out at Seaside Heights, N.J. The self-proclaimed meatballs were spotted zooming around the beach in Snooki’s electric scooter before going for a ride on an aerial lift by the boardwalk.

Both Snooki, 24, and Deena, 25, have plenty reasons to kick back.

Snooki is currently expecting her first child — a boy — with fiance Jionni LaValle. The pint-sized reality TV star announced her pregnancy in March, and have since moved on from her previous partying ways.

Recently, while shooting for the upcoming season of Jersey Shore, Snooki was spotted moving her belongings out of the infamous Seaside Heights digs and into a vacant home in the surrounding area.

“It’s not a prison,” said Chris Linn, MTV’s executive VP of programming and head of production, of Snooki’s move. “I know she’s concerned about the perception of her being a pregnant woman in a party house. This is an opportunity to see how she deals with it and how the rest of the house deals with it.”

While Snooki has remained responsible during her pregnancy, her BFF Deena recently got in trouble with the law.

Last week, the “blast in a glass” was cuffed outside a local bar and booked for disorderly conduct. Cortese was reportedly dancing in the streets and seen slapping cars, when cops intervened and made the arrest.

“You have to appear in court for that and normally there is a fine,” Steve Korman, a spokesperson for the Seaside Heights Police Department told Celebuzz of Deena’s punishment.

Not that she seems too phased with the legal mess.

Cortese was photographed leaving a neighborhood liquor store on Thursday with her co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola — and a box full of alcohol.

They may be millionaires, but the cast members of Jersey Shore still have to turn up for work.

Vinny Guadagnino, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Deena Nicole Cortese all made their way to the now-famous Shore Store on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, NJ, this morning.

The trio looked a bit worse for the wear, but Cortese, 25 and Giancola, 25, still made sure to bring a little more party with them.

How did they make the work day pass by just a little quicker?

The two girls were snapped sipping a mystery liquid out of the quintessential party prop — red solo cups!

Twenty-four-year-old Guadagnino, meanwhile, was having none of it and got straight to work – hanging up women’s underwear with his own name on it!

Here’s hoping it was only water in those cups, as Cortese — aka “Blast in a Glass” — has only been out of handcuffs for a few days since getting arrested for Disorderly Conduct last weekend.

The 25-year-old was busted on Sunday after a police officer spotted her wandering out into the middle of the street and allegedly slapping passing cars.

Like her best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in 2010, Jersey Shore‘s Deena Cortese has been arrested for disorderly conduct.

The self-proclaimed “blast in a glass” was cuffed on Sunday after a police officer spotted her looking “a little intoxicated” at Seaside Heights, N.J. Cortese, 25, had wandered out into the middle of the street and was allegedly slapping passing cars.

The reality TV starlet was taken to the police station, served a summons and then released.

“Basically, you have to appear in court for that and normally there is a fine,” Steve Korman, a public information spokesperson for Seaside Heights Police Department told Celebuzz.

According to a police report seen by Celebuzz, Cortese and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast were hanging out at the Spicy Catalina that day. There was an unidentified male subject with her when she was taken into booking.

Deena’s arrest follows a whirlwind of legal troubles that have recently swept through the cast’s home.

Jenni “JWoww” Farley was caught in the crossfire during a bar brawl in Seaside Heights this Friday. According to reports, two men got into a scuffle with JWoww’s boyfriend Roger Mathews and housemate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro at Bamboo Bar and the guidette sprained her ankle during the fight.

The two victims – identified as Justin Viterito and Devon Chichele — are reportedly planning to sue those involved along with Viacom and MTV.

In 2010, Cortese’s fellow castmate Snooki was also booked for disorderly conduct after drinking too much at local Seaside Heights bar.

Though Jersey Shore has already been on the air for almost five seasons now, Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola isn’t ready to call it quits just yet.

Celebuzz caught up with the Jersey Shore castmember last night at Bounce Sporting Club, where she she revealed she’d “definitely like to do a sixth season” of the show.

In the meantime, there’s always J-Woww and Snooki’s spinoff. When Celebuzz asked Sammi’s costar, Deena Nicole Cortese said, “If they want us to, yes.” Ah, the possibilities!

The next episode of Jersey Shore airs on Thursday, just two days after Valentine’s Day. So, what do the girls have planned for the big romantic holiday?

“I will be spending Valentine’s day with my boyfriend,” Deena said. “This is the first Valentine’s Day I have a Valentine. We will probably come in to the city and do dinner.”

Sammi, meanwhile, says she’s going the friends route.

“I am just going to be hanging out with girlfriends this Valentine’s Day,” she said.

Jersey Shores airs Thursday nights at 10PM on MTV.

After all the random hookups on Jersey Shore, we’re glad to see Deena has found a guy to settle down with! To be fair, she says she’s been a good girl while filming the show.

“Actually in Italy, I didn’t have sex once there,” Deena admitted to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on theTODAY show Tuesday morning. “I really didn’t. I made out, yes.”

 The “blast in a glass” turns 25 today, celebrating with her baby-faced boyfriend Chris Buckner. What a cutie!

The two also rung in the New Year together, with Deena saying via Twitter: 

“Wouldn’t have wanted to spend the New Year any other way …Dinner @ rivolis with my parents and boyfriend then back home to drink champagne.”

The new season of Jersey Shore kicked off last week, with Sammi Sweetheart telling Celebuzz:

“This season is different because it shows us actually having a lot more fun and a little less drama,” the reality star explained. A little less drama? We’ll see about that! She quickly adds, “And of course, there’s always drama.”

No matter what country they’re in, the Jersey Shore stars have a swinging door of men and women alike staying over. With even a room solely set aside as the “smoosh room,” it was surprising to hear Deena Nicole Cortese talk about what really went down (or didn’t go down rather) in the Florence, Italy house. 

“Actually in Italy, I didn’t have sex once there,” Deena admitted to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on the TODAY show Tuesday morning. “I really didn’t. I made out, yes.”

Though it’s doubtful that this was the case for her housemates, Deena and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola defended their partying ways, telling the talk show hosts: 

“This is what people forget. We’re in a house without cell phones, without music … without any communication with the outside world. … We have no days off. Everything is recorded. At that point, we we’re all so out of our comfort zone. … The only thing that’s more fun to me (Deena) is just gimme a glass of wine!”

Kathie Lee and Hoda, who have declared Wednesday to be “Winesday” on their show, couldn’t agree more. However, Kathie did crack a few jokes, admitting that she couldn’t tell the boys on the show apart.

Last night’s episode of Jersey Shore continues to project the ‘Guidos’ and ‘Guidettes’ in the most outlandish ways. 

In a hilarious deleted scene from last night’s rambunctious episode, we find the two self-proclaimed “meatballs” bonding over mimosas, flirting with Italian waiters and engaging in some sexual innuendos.

Typical Thursday night stuff for the feisty twosome!

In this video, both Snooki and Deena are having a blast in glass — literally — while teasing their waiter about his ‘stache. With Deena notably slurring pronunciations and Snooki’s blunt outbursts, the duo shines hysterically.

In this sneak peek clip of Jersey Shore in Florence, Italy, we witness Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino getting into a heated argument with some club locals, while the rest of the Shore  guys try and defuse the misunderstanding. Vinny Guadagnino doesn’t quite believe The Sitch’s tough guy act, saying in the confessional:

“Mike knows that there are bouncers in the club, Mike only acts like a tough guy when there’s people around to hold back the fight.”

But the boys weren’t the only ones to get rowdy!

The clip also shows us Nicole Snooki Polizzi and Deena Nicole Cortese having a girl’s night while everyone else heads home, but things make a turn for the worse when the girls decide to keep the party going at a different location. Once there, the meatballs continue to get harassed by some guys at the club. The bartender even throws ice at the girls to which Snooki blows up and starts knocking over drinks at the bar before being quickly escorted out of the club.

They don’t call her “Blast in a Glass” for nothing! Jersey Shore star Deena Nicole Cortese verbally blasted a nightclub bouncer for kicking her out of VIP after she finished up a two-hour hosting gig she was booked to do.

TMZ reports the Jersey Shore bronzed beauty fulfilled her two-hour gig at The Alchemy in New Haven, CT but when her two hours were up, she was pushed out of VIP to make room for paying club goers!

Defending herself via twitter, Deena stood up for herself by tweeting:

“@tmz I would just like to make it very clear why I went off on the alchemy owner..after I did over an hr of taking pictures..dancing on stage..n talking on the mic I was done with my 2 hrs of work.. the owner romara or w.e his name is that I didn’t see til the end n girl workers told me watch out he’s a creep..decided to grab me put me to the side speak down to me ..embaress me in front of my fans..kicked my best friend out of vip n made me cry …As I’m crying taking picss with fans I find out its the owners brother from workers.. For myself..I felt the need to stick up for myself.. after every emplloyee there clapped.”

Jersey Shore girl Deena Nicole Cortese doesn’t need a nightclub to bust out a booty dance. While on the Tonight Show, host Jay Leno asked the “blast in a glass” to explain to him what “Jersey Turnpike” means. Deena did him one better and showed him!

The self proclaimed meatball used The Office star Ed Helms as her subject to perform the seductive booty dance. Deena couldn’t look more comfortable doing the “Jersey Turnpike,” but Ed was very awkward! “I have another name for that,” he said following the booty dance. 

Leno joked that it might be a “toll road.”

Deena also chatted about the kiss seen around the world, her smooch in Florence, Italy with her roommate Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. “Meatball power!” she exclaimed, adding that she was surprised by her roommates’ “mean and judgmental” reactions to the make out session.

Could these be the very last photos you’ll ever see of Mike ”The Situation“ Sorrentino and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast together at the Seaside Heights house that shot them to international infamy?

The gang embarked on one of their favorite final night traditions — a big old water gun fight that left pretty much everyone soaked, some shirtless … and because it’s Jersey Shore, someone in some very compromising positions.

It seems a lot of the focus of Situation and DJ Pauly D was on newcomer Deena Nicole Cortese, who got the brunt of their water assault and wound up at one point with her legs in the air.

The future of Shore is up in the air, as this season brought about as much off-screen drama as it did onscreen. First, Vinny Guadagnino walked off the show for a brief period due to unconfirmed reasons, and later The Situation packed his bags — but quickly made his way back to the house to finish out the season.

Thank goodness this isn’t a real tattoo! Deena Nicole Cortese showed off a very bright temporary tattoo on her left arm Thursday, July 14. However, it was only a little airbrushing for the Jersey Shore girl, unlike her male roommates. 

Deena’s tatted up roomie Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio checked out the fake ink before his “meatball” friend headed out. What do you think of Deena’s fake tat? Love it or hate it? Sound off in the comments section below!

The Jersey Shore cast shlepped on the makeup and hair gel for their MTV Florence photo shoot! The girls of the house, of course, showed some leg with super short mini dresses, while the boys were a little shady.

These silly pics are nothing in comparison to the wild pics we saw this summer of the cast in Florence!

Deena Nicole Cortese nearly fell of a bridge during her time in Italy, and Mike “The Situation” and Ronnie got into a fight with each other in May as well.

Meanwhile, after supposedly putting two police offers in the hospital following a car crash in Florence, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi emerged  in a neck brace. The Jersey Shore star wasn’t arrested, but was simply brought in for questioning because of the alcohol-free incident. The reality starlet seemed in perfectly good spirits, despite having a potential lawsuit on her hands, as she walked around the city … even tossing her neck brace off while MTV cameras followed her around.

Also while filming in Florence, Vinny Guadagino was out of sorts as he roamed the streets with his roommates. The reality star was snapped holding a bouquet of flowers and, for some reason, in the bulk of the pics, is wearing a completely ripped shirt!

Mike “The Situation”Sorrentino, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese return to where it all began, Seaside Heights! The three were snapped filming Jersey Shore with, of course, cocktails in hand!

The three were dressed in summer attire, Deena with a floppy hat, Sammi in sunglasses and The Situation wearing one of his trademark graphic tees. Season four of the Shore that was filmed in Florence, Italy looks to have some big moments!

Leave it to the Jersey Shore cast to have a near-death experience during their Italian vacation.

New cast member Deena Nicole Cortese had a close call when she attempted to scale a stone structure hanging off of a picturesque bridge over Florence’s River Arno. Wearing white platform flip flops and tiny white shorts, Deena dangled over the edge of the bridge while the MTV cameras and curious tourists looked on. Luckily, Deena’s cast mate Sammi Sweetheart was on hand to save her and pull her back up over the ledge. Careful, Denna!
