Saturday Night Live may be losing more of its biggest players.

Following news that seasoned veteran Bill Hader was exiting the NBC sketch show after eight years, word has it that his castmates, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis, are jumping ship too.

According to a report by the New York Post, the two men — who are now heavily involved in projects outside the network – will “probably” make their exit before the new season. 

Armisen, who now stars in IFC’s Portlandia, has been with the show since 2002. Meanwhile, Sudeikis’ movie career has blossomed after joining the show in 2005. Both comedians are currently in the last year of their respective contracts.

Losing these two funnymen will be a big hit to SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels, who will also be seeing the exit of “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers in February 2014 as he replaces Jimmy Fallon on Late Night.

“If all four leave, it’s a lot for someone else to take on,” SNL alum Chris Kattan tells the Post. “Especially losing Seth, it seems like a lot.”

We all know Melissa McCarthy likes to ham it up… but she took it to a whole new level on Saturday Night Live last night.

The outrageously funny comedienne made sure we all never forget her second stint at the hosting helm by showing us she’s got all the right moves… literally.

In by far her best sketch of the night, McCarthy goes all out next to Jason Sudeikis, donning a cropped blonde wig, bottle glasses and stretch pants to get down during the Honey Baked Ham Bake Off.

“They said you lose every year is because it comes down to presentation,” she told the judges. “I took that really seriously, I worked all year, I made a ham every day… I tried to bump it up a couple of notches for you guys.”

That she did. But this is no ordinary bake off — it’s a ham off, McCarthy-style.

Sorry, New York Knicks — it looks like Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis only have eyes for each other.

On Saturday, the engaged lovebirds were spotted sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden to watch the home team take on the Toronto Raptors.

“KNICKS !” Wilde, 29, wrote on Twitter, along with a ground-level snapshot of the game.

Sudeikis, 37, wore a Kansas University cap for the game as he enjoyed a night off from Saturday Night Live. The NBC series will return on Apr. 6 with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Phoenix.

It was recently announced that Wilde’s film Drinking Buddies was acquired by Magnolia Pictures. The romantic comedy also stars New Girl’s Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston.

Kevin Hart did what he does best on Saturday Night Live: comedy, comedy, comedy.

So it only made sense that the 32-year-old funnyman went right into stand-up for his opening monologue, recalling a run-in with a homeless guy who was after his sandwich at Panera Bread.

Then came the impressions.

“Back in the day, I actually auditioned for SNL. True story people. I didn’t get it, no, they passed on me, which I’m fine about now . . . I just feel like I gave a great audition,” he said, before delivering his versions of basketball great Avery Johnson, Robert De Niro and Denzel Washington.

“The reason why I chose [Denzel], I’m black, he’s black, it was the perfect combination,” said Hart.

The evening was packed with spot-on sketches, live and pre-taped (“Is it a Z shirt?”), but the highlight of the show came by way of Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis.

Or, Hart’s version of the 9-year-old movie star.

Wolf Blitzer (played by Jason Sudeikis) chats with a correspondent for The Situation Room (Cecily Strong) about the selection for a new pope before the two are interrupted by a smoke signal, indicating that the Cardinals have made a decision — in Wallis.

“Quvenzhane Wallis is of course the first African American, first female and first child pope,” Strong announces, as Hart appears on screen in the actress’s Oscar dress (puppy purse included).

Hart’s composure is briefly interrupted on “Weekend Update with Seth Meyers,” in the pair’s edition of “Really With Seth and Kevin.”

Hart also channels his inner zombie in a tribute to The Walking Dead. After his character gets bitten, the conversation gets a bit sensitive for the new zombie.

“We’re not racist,” Taran Killam says. “It just seemed like you were turning into a zombie.”

Justin Timberlake will host and serve as musical guest on Mar. 9.

Justin Bieber called himself a lesbian, mixed up Valentine’s Day and Black History Month and sort of apologized for his recent alleged marijuana use — all in the latest dose of Saturday Night Live.

The first time host, who also served as musical guest, showed off his singing chops on several occasions, starting with the opening monologue.

“I’m so excited to be here hosting Saturday Night Live especially because it’s February. Febraury’s that special time of year. That romantic time of year . . . you know, Black History Month,” he said to an audience of mostly Beliebers.

“It’s also Valentine’s Day. So we’re gonna celebrate them both tonight . . . I’m gonna need to find that one special girl . . . to help me find love and also the great progress African Americans have made in the nation.”

The 19-year-old goes on to give roses and deliver incorrect facts (such as Denzel Washington inventing the peanut), before he delivers his last rose to surprise guest Whoopi Goldberg.

For music, the Biebs delivered acoustic versions of “As Long As You Love Me” and his new single “Nothing Like Us.”

But perhaps the highlight of the night came during Vanessa Bayer’s recurring Miley Cyrus sketch, when Bieber appeared as the former Disney star’s fan.

“Miley, you’re seriously my favorite singer of all time. You’re light years better than that douche Justin Bieber,” he says in the bit. “He looks like a lesbian . . . I heard he still has his baby teeth . . . I also heard he got bused for smoking weed and he’s really sorry about it and that people make mistakes and he’s never gonna do it again.”

The “Boyfriend” singer later finds himself in a room full of Bieber lookalikes, as Jason Sudeikis shows off his body doubles — that don’t quite resemble the pop star.

Like Bill Hader and SNL alum Jimmy Fallon, Bieber also cracks up at one point, thanks to a hilarious sketch involving Taran Killam as a loud-mouthed brother.

Christoph Waltz will host next week’s Saturday Night Live, along with musical guest Alabama Shakes.

Olivia Wilde is off the market! On a recent trip to Rome, Italy, the 28-year-old actress showed off her sparkler as she toured the Palazzo Farnese with her co-stars of The Third Person — a love story (also starring Mila Kunis and Liam Neeson) set to release this year.

The same day, Wilde gushed on Twitter, “Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends! And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon.”

The 28-year-old actress is engaged to Jason Sudeikis, Wilde’s rep confirmed to Celebuzz on Saturday.

News of the engagement comes more than one year after the veteran Saturday Night Live player, 37 and the Butter star went public with their romance.

Wilde was previously married to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli. The couple finalized their divorce in last September after nearly eight years of marriage.

In October, Wilde gushed to USA Today about life with her comedian beau. The pair currently live together in downtown Manhattan with the actress’ dog Paco.

“I’ve been decorating our new apartment. That’s a lot of what I do, too. I’m so domestic,” she said.

“We have a cool new electronic drum kit. It’s a good life.”

And it’s only going to get better.

Olivia Wilde and beau Jason Sudeikis were picture perfect when the pair attended a museum benefit in New York City on Thursday.

The 28-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a black lace gown while Saturday Night Live‘s Sudeikis, 37, suited up for the black tie affair.

The couple were among some big names for the gala, which benefited the American Museum of Natural History.

Bill Hader, Bobby Moynihan, Jay Pharaoh and other SNL cast members were also on hand for the event, as were SNL alums Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon.

Since going public with their relationship in 2011, Wilde and Sudeikis have been frequently spotted taking romantic strolls, out on lunch dates or relaxing on the beach, all while sharing adorable moments of embrace.

Wilde, who currently lives in Manhattan with Sudeikis, recently told USA Today that she’s been living “a good life.”

“I’ve been decorating our new apartment. That’s a lot of what I do, too. I’m so domestic.”

As Barack Obama and Mitt Romney gear up for Tuesday’s big election day, Celebuzz is taking a trip down political memory lane — by way of Saturday Night Live.

This September, when SNL kicked off its 38th season, President Obama had a new “face.” After four seasons of long pauses and hand gestures, Fred Armisen had passed the Obama torch to Jay Pharoah, whose young SNL resume has included portraying Jay-Z, Denzel Washington and Eddie Murphy. And so far, Pharoah has delivered.

In honor of the 2012 presidential election, here’s a look back at some of the commander-in-chiefs that have been featured on SNL.

When George W. Bush was in office for two terms, he had many, many faces on the NBC show, thanks to the talents of Jason Sudeikis, Darrell Hammond, Chris Parnell and Will Ferrell.

Last season, when Ferrell returned to the show as host, the actor put on his Bush hat again for the cold opening, opposite Sudeikis’ Joe Biden (which has since become a fan favorite).

For more than three decades, SNL audiences have been treated to a smorgasbord of political satire, which has included arguably some of the best performances the show has ever seen.

How can Olivia Wilde tell if she’s in love? Apparently, her body does all the talking.

The Tron actress revealed at Monday’s These Girls — a night filled with monologues hosted by Glamour magazine — that she should have listened to something other than her head when her previous marriage to Italian prince Tao Ruspoli seemed like it was dwindling after eight years.

“I felt like my vagina died,” she confessed to Vulture. “Turned off. Lights out . . . you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.”

How does she feel now after dating Jason Sudeikis?

The Butter star is “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love” with her Saturday Night Live boyfriend of nine months, and even gushed about how they “have sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”

Of the past, Wilde said, “There’s no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility to something that may not be right. I feel like far too many women do that.”

If there’s one lesson Saturday Night Live fans have learned over the years, it’s that none of your favorite funny folk are irreplaceable. Sooner or later, everyone moves on, and hungry newbies come in to replace them.

So it is with the 38th season, which kicks off this weekend with three new warm bodies filling the void left by the departures of longtime SNL favorites Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, and Abby Elliott. NBC has confirmed that the new cast members, all hailing from the world of Chicago improv comedy that has sustained the show since 1975, are Aidy Bryant, Tom Robinson, and Cecily Strong.

Comedy professionals’ website The Comic’s Comic broke the news of Bryant and Robinson’s hiring on Friday and Strong’s hiring on Monday. NBC then confirmed that all three will join the cast as “featured players,” the junior-level cast members who tend to get less sketch time until they prove themselves.

SNL has a long history of roly-poly male comics, from John Belushi and Chris Farley to current players Kenan Thompson and Bobby Moynihan, but more than one observer has noted that Bryant will be the show’s first ever plus-sized female star. (Which is sort of a backhanded compliment to Rachel Dratch.) Bryant hails from Phoenix. In Chicago, she worked at Second City (a source of SNL comics since the days of Belushi and Bill Murray) and with such improv groups as Baby Wants Candy and Annoyance, where she performed with current SNL player Vanessa Bayer.

Strong is from Oak Park, Illiinois. In addition to Second City, she worked alongside Bryant in the group Virgin Daiquiri at Chicago’s Improv Olympics.

Saturday Night Live begins its 38th season on Sept. 15 at 11:30 PM ET. Hosting will be Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane, with musical guest Frank Ocean.

The cute couple was spotted soaking up the sun on a beach excursion in Wilmington, North Carolina on Wednesday.

Wilde, 28, donned a tiny black string bikini, while Sudeikis, 36, sported canary-colored bottoms with blue and black details.

It appears as if they definitely hopped in the ocean.

As you can see from the drastic change in Wilde’s hair, the two were not afraid of getting a little wet.

Wilde started off nice and dry, with her brunette locks pulled back into a messy bun.  But she was later seen with damp tresses flowing down her back; her beau was equally drenched.

The duo have been dating since December of 2011.

Jennifer Aniston is stripping down on the set of her upcoming flick, We’re The Millers.

Well, not completely, but the newly engaged  star did show a good glimpse of her bra on Monday as she filmed scenes alongside Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis in Wilmington, North Carolina.

What do we know about We’re The Millers?

In the film, Aniston, 43, goes from America’s sweetheart to hooker; she plays a prostitute who pretends to be the wife of a drug dealer (Sudeikis) trying to smuggle drugs across the border.

Aniston and Sudeikis previously collaborated on Horrible Bosses. She got engaged to boyfriend Justin Theroux earlier this month.

There’s a heavy talent drain this summer at Saturday Night Live, with Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, and now, Abby Elliott announcing their departures before the show’s 38th season starts this fall. But Jason Sudeikis remains a question mark.

There have been rumblings all summer that the nine-year SNL mainstay may join the mass exodus, opting to concentrate fully on his now-part-time film career. However, in a recent Los Angeles Times interview, he said he might still stick around with the sketch troupe at 30 Rock, provided he gets a promotion (say, a writing or producing title). But should he stay? Maybe it really is time for him to leave?

Should Sudeikis stay or should he go? A TV expert weighs in, below.

Granted, SNL might be seen as a cushy gig. You only work 20 weeks a year, and since you’re part of an ensemble, no one expects too much of you. And if you’re Sudeikis, you’ll get to keep opening the show with your Mitt Romney impersonation, at least for a few more months — and maybe for four to eight more years. Plus, it’s risky to leave. For every Wiig or Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler who successfully makes the transition to the big screen, there are several Chris Kattans and Will Fortes and Jimmy Fallons who tried to become movie stars and failed.

Sudeikis may have made you laugh on the big screen, in supporting roles in such movies as the current The Campaign and last year’s Horrible Bosses. But is he a movie star? He has yet to prove he can open a picture all by himself and sell tickets on the strength of his own comic persona.

And what is that persona, exactly? It’s not well-defined. He’s had nine years on SNL to come up with a trademark, but his only major recurring characters have been the “Two A-Holes” Guy (a bit he did in tandem with the departing Wiig), the jogging-suited dancer on “What’s Up With That?”, and Romney. He’s not like Ferrell, who’s specialized (on SNL and in movies) in naive blowhards, or Sandler, who does volatile boy-men.

The versatility that makes him a good utility player on SNL could actually be a hindrance to movie stardom. Film audiences don’t know what to expect from Sudeikis. He hasn’t branded himself or created a dependably predictable comic experience that will make moviegoers comfortable enough with him to buy tickets on the strength of his name.

One expert who thinks Sudeikis shouldn’t quit his day job is Entertainment Weekly TV critic and editor-at-large Ken Tucker. “He may be feeling antsy, but his feature film career is not taking off,” Tucker told Celebuzz, scoffing at The Campaign as a potential star vehicle for Sudeikis. “But he’s very much a Most Valuable Player for SNL, all the more so with their other departures. Audiences at SNL shows really love him- — he often gets applause when he makes an entrance, and just his dancing on the ‘What’s Up with That?’ sketch is comedy gold.”

Still, Sudeikis could develop into a credible comic-romantic leading man on screen. He’s currently filming We’re the Millers, in which he shares lead role duties with Jennifer Aniston. Plus, as fans may know, Sudeikis certainly dates like a movie star, having been linked to such hotties as January Jones and current squeeze Olivia Wilde. (And to Aniston, or so it was rumored a couple years ago.) Wouldn’t all that seem to outweigh sticking around at SNL, when he’s been there for nine years already and seems to feel he’s hit a creative ceiling?

“Of course, I can understand him being tired of putting on a red jumpsuit and dancing for ‘What’s Up,’” said Tucker, who  does think Sudeikis could succeed elsewhere on TV. “But unless he got himself attached to a really good sitcom producer and premise, he ought to stay for another season..”

In the latest issue of Men’s Journal, the funnyman hints that he might leave the venerable show after seven years.

“I’ve left places before,” he says. “This is very, very different.” The 36-year-old adds: ”Goodbyes are tough.”

Why has speculation that Sudeikis will exit the iconic sketch show been building?

His cohorts, Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg, recently decided to leave SNL, and Sudeikis’ contract has expired.

The 36-year-old even expressed some ambivalence about the show, calling it both “an amazing job and a horrible job.”

Sudeikis surely won’t be down and out without his SNL gig: his movie career is red-hot.

Last year, he appeared in Horrible Bosses, which raked in $200 million at the box office. He’ll next star in Will Ferrell‘s The Campaign, hitting theaters in August.

Also on his plate: We’re the Millers with Jennifer Aniston and Relanxious, about an agoraphobic man who meets a woman with anxiety disorder. In the latter, he’ll costar with his real-life girlfriend, Olivia Wilde.

Olivia Wilde and Saturday Night Live funnyman Jason Sudeikis are taking their love to the big screen. The couple have decided to work together on a new comedy called Relanxious, Deadline.com reports. 

Also starring SNL star Fred Armisen and United States of Tara actress Brie Larson, the film centers around Barrett (Wilde) who is an anxious woman that falls for George (Sudeikis).  

Deadline describes the movie’s premise: 

“George is agoraphobic and so their courtship is limited to phone conversations in which they discuss the dates they would go on if their phobias didn’t stand in the way. As the fantasies develop, the two must decide if they can put aside their fears in order to find real-life romance. Larsen plays Barrett’s sister, and Armisen plays George’s friend and only contact with the outside world.”

Jason Sudeikis got a meal and a show when he stepped out with girlfriend Olivia Wilde for an afternoon lunch.

On Thursday, the couple was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at a local restaurant in Los Feliz, Calif. Wilde, who was sporting a very low-cut dress, flashed a whole lotta cleavage for her man during their date. Later on, the In Time actress covered up with a pink cardigan as she left the eatery.

Recently, Olivia was also seen showing off her sexy curves on the set of her upcoming flick, Burt Wonderstone. Wilde was spotted sporting a red, skin-tight superhero costume while chatting with the crew in between takes.
