Ben Affleck didn’t get the Justin Timberlake treatment when the former officially joined the Five-Timers Club on the Saturday Night Live season finale, but he did take the opportunity to address his Oscars speech from earlier in the year.

To clear the air on “marriage is a lot of work,” the Argo director brought out wife Jennifer Garner.

The adorable banter fizzled when Affleck was “caught” reading from a cue card.

Most of Affleck’s SNL sketches were spot on, like this one with Fred Armisen playing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad playing Affleck.

But the episode also belonged to two others: Bill Hader, who performed in his last episode, and Kanye West, who performed two brand new songs. (Armisen, who’s also rumored to be leaving but has yet to officially confirm his departure, had an emotional last sketch that included friend and Portlandia co-star Carrie Brownstein and a slew of musicians).

Following a packed vacation with the Kardashian-Jenner clan in Greece, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick and their adorable children Penelope and Mason returned stateside on Wednesday, touching down at Los Angeles International Airport.

Speaking of airports, Halle Berry kept a low profile as she landed at LAX on a flight from Canada. The 46-year-old actress, who is pregnant with her second child (her first with fiance Olivier Martinez), covered up her baby bump in a grey cardigan during the outing.

Elsewhere on the west coast, Jennifer Garner was spotted with her middle child Seraphina while out on a breakfast date in Santa Monica, Calif.

Gisele Bundchen was spotted hard at work on the set of a new H&M fashion campaign in the UK. The 32-year-old mother-of-two modeled a cream sweater, olive green pants and a conductor hat during the shoot.

Elsewhere in London, Channing Tatum and his pregnant wife Jenna Dewan were spotted on separate outings. Tatum, who’s been in town filming Jupiter Ascending, went for a jog with his dog while Dewan, due this summer, took a stroll in the sunshine on Hampstead Heath.

Stateside, Katy Perry looked lovely in a dark floral print dress while out in New York City. The night before, the “Firework” singer got all dressed up for a gathering celebrating Miuccia Prada’s designs for The Great Gatsby film. In the midst of the excitement of winning an Academy Award, winners can often slip-up, forgetting to mention their loved one in their acceptance speech. Luckily, Affleck didn’t falter when he took home the Best Picture prize for Argo at this year’s ceremony. In fact, the actor-director candidly spoke out about his nearly eight-year union with his wife, admitting they’ve been “working on their marriage for 10 Christmases.” The line led many to speculate trouble in their relationship, which Affleck has since denied.

Dembo’s opinion: Ben Affleck looked at his wife, Jennifer Garner during his Oscar speech and made mention of the 10 years of working on their marriage. Of course, each one of us were wondering if there was “trouble” in the Affleck/Garner household. In many ways making reference to his efforts in his marriage didn’t quite fit the moment, however, in a raw, very real moment, we saw a glimpse of a very real couple. The fame, fortune and all the real issues that couples face in marriage today speak to the celebration Ben was feeling about his marriage and like the hard work of making a wonderful film, there is wonderful work happening for Ben and Jennifer to live the life they are living. Good for them.

Jennifer Lawrence & Nicholas Hoult

Although they amicably split before the Oscars, there was no love lost between the Best Actress winnerand her former beau since their January breakup. After her successful run during the 2013 awards season, Hoult even complimented his one-time lady love on her rise as Hollywood’s current “It” girl.
“I’m very, very happy for her,” the Warm Bodies actor told E! News. ”I’m thrilled!”

Dembo’s opinion: So, the question is…Can couples truly remain friends after a break up?
And the answer is…depends on how you define “being a friend”. It is rare when a couple can split up and remain active friends that socialize together, continue staying in communication on a regular basis, especially as one or both move on and find new relationships to engage in. The truth is when people say we are “still friends” they actually mean that they have nothing negative to say about their ex. That they wish them well and hope good things for them. But what they don’t say is that they may be very happy to be away from that person and they secretly wish you didn’t bring up their name at all. Now…that’s much more common!

Rachel McAdams & Michael Sheen

After meeting on the set of 2010′s Midnight in Paris, the couple have successfully maintained a low-key profile since acknowledging their romance a year later. Flash forward to 2013: McAdams and Sheen decided to part ways, although sources close to the couple claim the split is “not permanent.”

Dembo’s opinion:The advantage of taking a break vs. breaking up is that the intention is to find a way back to one another, if at all possible. The problem for many couples taking a break, is that they don’t establish rules and boundaries. Rules and boundaries allow for the couple to trust that each is spending the time in reflection, being alone, and acting responsibly. If there are no rules to the taking a break period, either individual could get caught up in their new found single hood and behave in a way that damages further the possibility for coming back together.

Still glowing with Oscar fever (thanks to Ben Affleck’s big win on Sunday), Jennifer Garner was spotted looking radiant as she picked up some coffee at Starbucks in Los Angeles. The couple’s third child, Samuel, turns one year old on Wednesday.

On the east coast, Miranda Kerr stopped by Good Morning America in New York City to promote a new juice line. The 29-year-old Victoria’s Secret beauty opened up about her son Flynn on the morning show.

It was date night at the Oscars on Sunday.

Amid the gorgeous gowns and dapper tuxes, love was on Hollywood’s side on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards on Sunday evening.

It was a party of three for Channing Tatum, who worked the carpet with wife Jenna and their soon-to-be bundle of joy.

“She’s willing it to be a girl,” Tatum told Entertainment Tonight about their unborn baby.

As for the big-named nominees, the evening wouldn’t be complete without their true love on their arm. Argo’s Ben Affleck couldn’t take his eyes off wife Jennifer Garner as they headed inside the Dolby Theatre to celebrate the final leg of the awards season. Vying for the Best Actress statue tonight, Naomi Watts brought her ultimate good-luck charm: longtime beau Liev Schreiber.

When it comes to unconditional love, Bradley Cooper easily earns the title of “most dedicated son” as he proudly accompanied his mother Gloria.

“She’s really holding it together. She’s doing well!” Cooper said about his mother.

Meanwhile, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler shot down speculations of a breakup as they celebrated the evening in style.

And in rare appearance together, Jennifer Aniston looked red-hot as she arrived in a Valentino gown, topped off with her hot accessory: fiance Justin Theroux.

Even if Argo doesn’t take home the Oscar for Best Picture, there’s one award that Ben Affleck is guaranteed to win tonight: best-dressed couple.

On Wednesday, the 43-year-old superstar took to Twitter to share a personal snap of her family: ex husband Marc Anthony, their twins Max and Emme, current beau Casper Smart, Anthony’s girlfriend Shannon de Lima and Anthony’s son from a previous marriage, Cristian, who was turning the big 1-2.

As Beyonce fans count down the hours until her highly anticipated Super Bowl half time show, the rest of the country — 49ers and Ravens fans — will be glued to the their television sets to see who will come out on top.

Black is back. After the sea of bold hues parading down the red carpet for the past year, black and white styles dominated the red carpet at this year’s SAG Awards.

Anne Hathaway, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey among the bevy of stars sticking to all-black looks, while Sofia Vergara, Jayma Mays and Kerry Washington opted for crisp white gowns. Refusing to pick sides, January Jones, Claire Danes and Julianne Moore combined the two in elegant black-and-white gowns.

Though there was no gray area when it came to the dominant palette of the night, the majority of stars who did break free from the black-and-white pack, including best-dressed stars Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Kidman, stuck to regal midnight and purple gowns.

Still, a few signs of spring were blooming on the red carpet. Brightening things up, Freida Pinto, Lea Michele and Nina Dobrev popped in hot pink gowns.

Though metallics have slipped from their number one spot this awards season, they continue to remain one of the red carpet’s lasting trends, and one look at Jennifer Garner, Julia Stiles and Naomi Watts’ shiny looks last night and its not hard to see why.

As for silhouettes, the column gown reigned supreme. Mays and Maria Menonous jazzed up the simple silhouette with elegant trains, while Pinto, Jessica Paré and Giuliana Rancic carved out their waists in straighter styles with bold belts.

Strapless continues to be the big neckline trend this season, as shoulders were showcased at nearly every turn. However, we also saw straps emerge as an up-and-coming alternative to the sans-straps styles that have been holding strong for several seasons.

Hollywood’s 40 and over club has never looked better.

Some, like Cameron Diaz, Kate Walsh and Elizabeth Hurley, rely on Pilates classes, while others, like Julianne Moore and Padma Lakshmi, put in plenty of cardio hours.

For Gwen Stefani, who’s always turned heads with her rock hard abs and toned figure, it’s all about putting in the effort.

“There’s no secret: you just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself!” the 43-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar last year.

Having kids paints a completely different picture when the stars want to work out, but there’s always room for both.

Naomi Watts, who has two young boys with partner Liev Schrieber, recently told Australian website Body + Soul that it’s all about what you eat.

“I like to cook. As a mum, you end up cooking at least three or four times a week,” the 44-year-old said. “I pretty much always have fish and vegetables or roast chicken. The boys like protein.

Attitude is also a big booster.

According to Jennifer Garner’s trainer Valerie Waters, the 40-year-old actress worked out during and after her pregnancy. (Garner gave birth to her third child nearly one year ago).

“She’s strong and can kick it into gear — no question, bring it on!” Waters told PEOPLE last summer.

Jennifer Garner held on tight to her youngest daughter Seraphina, as the pair headed to a doctor’s office in Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday.

The mother of three, who donned a pair of shades and oversized cardigan for the outing, is expected to present at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

On the east coast, Sarah Jessica Parker was also spotted holding on to her little ones, Tabitha and Marion. The trio bundled up for the cold New York weather as Parker walked her twins to school with a friend.

Speaking of bundling up, Glee’s Chris Colfer put on multiple layers as he headed out of his New York hotel. The 20-year-old’s latest film, Struck by Lightning opens in select theaters on Friday.

Elsewhere in the Big Apple, Philip Seymour Hoffman was spotted riding around the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan while just blocks away, Alec Baldwin and wife Hilara Thomas were photographed heading back to their apartment.

In other sightings, Adele landed in Los Angeles on early Friday morning with her newborn son in tow. The British songstress is scheduled to perform at the Golden Globes.

It was all about work for some of Tinseltown’s finest on Thursday.

Miranda Kerr spent the day in Beverly Hills, Calif. where she was hard at work on a photo shoot for the airline of her home nation, Qantas. The Victoria’s Secret model, who posed in a gorgeous red dress during the shoot at Mr. C Hotel, later changed into a more comfortable ensemble — jeans, sweater and leopard print flats — for a meeting with a friend.

On the east coast, Lena Dunham was spotted heading into the Ed Sullivan theater in New York City for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

The 26-year-old is gearing up for the highly-anticipated second season of her hit show Girls, set to premiere on HBO on Sunday.

Speaking of TV shows, Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted in Granada Hills, Calif. filming a new episode of The Client List. The Lifetime series will return for a second season later this year.

Elsewhere on the west coast, a newly-single Taylor Swift rocked a plaid shirt and a pair of shades as she headed to a recording studio in Los Angeles. Just the night before, the “Trouble” singer took home the People’s Choice Award for favorite country artist.

Channing Tatum returned to work on the Pittsburgh, Pa. set of his film Foxcatcher Tuesday morning. The Magic Mike hunk was just named People Magazine‘s Sexiest Man Alive.

Tatum was not only shocked by the news, but humbled by the big announcement.

“My first thought was, ‘Y’all are messing with me,” Tatum said.

Nicki Minaj stopped by the Good Morning America set to promote the upcoming season of American Idol. The rapper turned heads in a bubble gum pink suit with matching hair.

Madonna looked incredible on the Miami, Fla. Leg of her MDNA tour. The singer danced onstage in a skin-tight black ensemble.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner was spotted on the set of The Dallas Buyers Club in New Orleans, La. on Wednesday. The mother-of-three plays Dr. Eve Saks in the biopic starring Matthew McConaughey.

McConaughey has made waves with his dramatic weight loss for the role, in which he plays a man who battled AIDS for six years.
