Among the highlights: World’s Most Beautiful Woman Gwyneth Paltrow, who ditched fear for sheer in Antonio Berardi at the Iron Man 3 premiere in Hollywood; and Mad Men beauty Jessica Paré, who drove us mad in a colorful dress by Serbian designer Roksanda Ilinčić.

The ladies lead the latest collection of celebrity sightings.

On the red carpet, Demi Moore looked glamorous in a sheer pantsuit and heels as she attended AFI’s annual Night at the Movies event in Hollywood. The 50-year-old actress was later spotted mingling with another star: Cher.

Elsewhere in Hollywood, the stars came out to support the cast of Iron Man 3, which held its premiere at the El Capitan Theatre. Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston dressed their best for the event, along with Chris Hemsworth, Don Cheadle andDisney star Debby Ryan.

On the east coast, Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel modeled a variety of outfits for a brand new photo shoot, Cameron Diaz continued to shoot scenes for The Other Woman and Robin Roberts celebrated all things girl power at the Women’s Filmmaker Brunch at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.

Across the pond, Kate Moss donned an all-black ensemble for a shopping trip in London while Prince Harry paid a visit to the Russell Youth Club in Nottingham.

Carey Mulligan divided critics Thursday night when she arrived to the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball looking a little, uh, severe.

The Oscar-nominated actress, who stars in May’s The Great Gatsby, wore a half-cape, half-tuxedo blazer of sorts by Victoria Beckham. What she didn’t wear, though, was any makeup, which made this red-carpet risk all the riskier.

In hindsight, the look was actually pretty cool, in that Tilda Swinton kind of way. It’s just hard to figure out what to make of it, since Mulligan wouldn’t even smile for the cameras.

Also at the event were the more traditionally dressed Kate Hudson, Jessica Biel, Michelle Williams and the country’s most-hated celebrity, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Most people dread their birthdays, but Kate Hudson shouldn’t be one of them.

The stunning actress turns 34 Friday and her fit bikini bod proves that age is just a number.

Recently, the Glee star took her rock-hard abs to the FOX TV show, leaving us all green with envy as she flaunts her figure in a variety of skin-tight leotards.

How does she stay fit?

In March, the mother-of-two told Glamour magazine that “dancing, pilates and running” are her secrets to staying in shape.

When their paths crossed at Coachella in 2010, Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy sparked something special. But just two months into their classic courtship, she found out she was pregnant.

“I thought, ‘This is going to be interesting,’” Hudson tells Elle UK‘s May issue. “I knew it would take a strong man to deal with it. You know that with a relationship, things can go either way when you have a child. When you get pregnant everything changes; you, your body. Everything becomes a big decision.”

Bellamy, the frontman of the British band Muse, proved himself by stepping up to the plate. “He was there and that was that,” she continued. “Now it’s three wonderful years later. Things happen for a reason.”

Hudson, 33, and Bellamy, 34, welcomed son Bingham Hawn Bellamy in July 2011. It was Bellamy’s first child, but Hudson’s second — she shares son, Ryder, 9, with her ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson. Now with two little ones, Hudson’s sense of self has changed.

“I’m a lot less a rock chick and a lot more about being a good mother, a good partner,” she explains. “I’m part of a family.”

Though they got engaged back in April 2011, Hudson and Bellamy aren’t rushing to the altar. “We will get married,” she says. “I do think it’s important, but we have no plans. For me it’s not the legal part that is important, it’s what it means to the family.”

For Hudson, her point of view on saying “I do” is shaded mostly mother Goldie Hawn‘s relationship with her longtime life partner Kurt Russell. Though the pair never tied the knot, they proved their commitment to each other for their children.

“When I was a kid, my brothers and sisters and I wanted [Kurt and Goldie] to get married,” Hudson said “We were all together at home, Dad gave Mum a ring and said some beautiful words. It was their own version of the ceremony and I remember it so well. It was like it was about us. The family was the glue.”

Mom-of-two Kate Hudson is the latest starlet to show off her bod, going topless on the cover of Glamour‘s April 2013 issue.

Shot by famed fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, the shoot features the stunning 33-year-old Glee actress posing in barley-there attire as she lounges around in a modern mansion.

Hudson, who’s currently engaged to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, also revealed how she whipped back into shape after giving birth to her second son, Bingham, in 2011.

“Dancing, Pilates, and running after Bing,” she told the publication.

“And Ryder is the coolest cat—an amazing big brother, so patient and tolerant,” she gushed about her eldest child from her previous marriage to rocker Chris Robinson. “Bing pulls his hair, and Ryder just laughs. He’s such a good person.”

“I couldn’t be a prouder mommy.”

Beads, boob-flashing and booze-fueled parades — such is the glory of Mardi Gras.

And as the annual festivities roll around each February, celebrities fly south to New Orleans soak up the Gras gaiety. This year, like every year, the Big Easy entertained a string celebrity-studded parades — put on by the krewes of Endymion, Bacchus and Orpheus, social clubs that coordinate the elaborate floats and costumes — during the lead up to Fat Tuesday.

Kelly Clarkson served as the Grand Marshal of Endymion on Saturday, waving from atop a float before performing in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome amid purple, green and gold lights, marking the first major event hosted at the arena since the Super Bowl blackout.

“I’m the Grand Marshal of Mardi Gras!!! Most fun ever!!!!!… Yeahhhhh! (sic) Endymion Parade,” she tweeted excitedly, adding that she and fiancé Brandon Blackstock ”had so much fun leading the Mardi Gras parade!”

The following day, actor G.W. Bailey of TNT’s Major Crimes reigned as the king of the Bacchus parade, a honor held by comedian Will Ferrell last year. And Monday afternoon, Nick Cannon will ride as a celebrity monarch in the krewe of Orpheus, along with krewe co-founder Harry Connick Jr., CSI: NY star Gary Sinise and award-winning actress Mariska Hargitay.

Last year, Shutter Island actress Patricia Clarkson reigned over the all-women krewe of Muses, rock-pop band Maroon 5 rode with the krewe Endymion, and music superstars Bret Michaels and Cyndi Lauper teamed up with Orpheus.

While some celebrities revel Mardi Gras from atop a festooned flat, tossing countless trinkets and beads to the cheering crowds below, others — like Girls Gone Wild partier Luke Wilson and beads-horder Kate Hudson— mix in with the partying masses right on the streets of the Big Easy.

So in honor of Fat Tuesday, a day devoted to frivolous partying in the final hours before Ash Wednesday — which kicks off the Catholic Lenten season of sacrifice — Celebuzz looks back at some celebrities who have gotten into the Mardi Gras spirit in the past.

Although she won’t be attending this weekend’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, actress Odette Annable will still be keeping an eye out for all her favorite fashionistas from her living room couch.

“If they do the same thing that they did for the Golden Globes, then I’m going to be really excited to see Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington,” Annable, the new spokesperson for Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy, told Celebuzz.

“Kerry Washington just blew it out of the park. I thought she looked so fantastic,” the 27-year-old, who made CB’s list of the best-dressed stars at New York Fashion Week, continued. “My good friend Stacy Keibler always looks really great… Kate Hudson, oh my gosh, in that Alexander McQueen number she wore, I was just floored. I loved it.”

Annable’s husband, ABC’s now-canceled 666 Park Avenue and Brothers & Sisters alum Dave Annable, and some friends will join her in watching Sunday’s SAG Awards show. She’s not spilling which movies and TV shows are her favorite, but she did tell us her party plan for watching this weekend’s show.

“We’re always rooting for our friends or our favorite movies to win. It’s always such a nice thing to have friends over,” the Los Angeles native said. “We break out the wine and have a little party and watch it all together. We just like to keep it fun.”

It’s hard to stay confident when you’re constantly being scrutinized.

But some celebs don’t let Hollywood’s expectations affect their self-esteem, looking good — and feeling great — whatever their shape.

From Kim Kardashian, to Tyra Banks, these two television stars are a pair who have learned to embrace their curves. The latter, CW’s America’s Next Top Model star, is even proud to teach young girls the importance of  loving themselves and accepting their body flaws.

British songstress Leona Lewis, 27, has also opened up about weight woes.

“I wouldn’t lose weight for my career… and I wouldn’t have surgery either,” she told Closer magazine.

“I’m happy in my own skin. You have to be healthy and I’m proud of my curves. If I even tried to be a size zero I’d probably be dead. I’m too tall to be a stick-thin girl.”

What other A-listers are comfortable in their own skin?

Kate Hudson, 33, told UK’s The Telegraph, “I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect. The imperfections are there,” continuing, “People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once.”

Similar to Hudson, Christina Hendricks embraces her differences.

The Mad Men star, 37, told Grazia magazine, “I love my body as it is. People in the industry have been telling me to lose weight for years but I like the way I look.”

She added, “I give credit for my mother for helping me feel good about my appearance – for making sure I never felt embarrassed about my body, because she was never worried about looking too big.

“I started out as a model and when I went to Italy to build my book I gained 15 pounds from all the pastas and cappuccinos,” Hendricks said, continuing, “I saw my body change and I loved how it changed my appearance and how it made me look more womanly and sexy.”

Finally! This week, Kate Hudson is back on FOX’s Glee — and as per usual, Cassie is heating things up on the dance floor.

On “Swan Song,” Cassie goes head-to-head with her favorite student, Little Miss Schwimmer a.k.a. Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). Together, the two femme fatales perform the Chicago classic, “All That Jazz.” And surprisingly, Rachel holds her own against the NYADA instructor. Gleeks, this is a diva-off for the history books!

Brody (Dean Geyer) appears to be M.I.A. during the sexy performance, but something tells us he’s at the center of the drama after his tryst with Cassie. Not to mention, Cassie isn’t exactly thrilled when Rachel is invited to NYADA’s prestigious Winter Showcase.

Back at McKinley, the New Directions regroup after a tough loss at Sectionals, and Finn (Cory Monteith) ponders his future with the club. Can Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) convince him to stay? Or will he fall victim to Sue’s (Jane Lynch) irrational wrath?

Capes are no longer just for superheroes or vampires.

The fall runways — at show’s like Giambattista Valli, Alexis Mabille and Stéphane Rolland — all featured models flying down the runways in capes, solidifying their place as a fashion staple for fall and winter.

And now celebrities, from Kate Hudson and Rachel Bilson to Kim Kardashian to Jennifer Hudson, have been channeling their inner superheroes in the season’s new outwear must-have.

To show you how to pull off this superhero-inspired trend, we’ve rounded the caped crusaders who got it right.

Wearing a cape can be tricky, easily appearing costume-y or sloppy. If you’re trying the cape out for the first time, sticking to solids is the easy way to go, with black being the most fail-proof day-to-night choice. For a more casual look, turn to the season’s other classic neutrals: A camel, gray, or cream cape will look just as chic with a pair of leather pants, denim skinnies, or a printed dress.

Want to make a bolder statement? A bright color will feel festive — just keep the rest of your outfit simple and streamlined. Patterns, however, can be especially tricky when paired with this boxier style, and it’s easy to go overboard. Your best bet: Stick to simple patterns like Hudson’s stripes.

Fit is also important, even with such a drapey item. With longer capes like Kardashian’s, find a cut that hits your leg at the knee so your silhouette doesn’t look stumpy.  Shorter capes should hit just past the hips and can work with shorter skirts or frocks.

Finally! After a five week hiatus, Glee is back and ready to hand jive. Obviously, we all need a bit of a pick-me-up after “the episode that shall not be named.” You know, the one that left us in tears.

So when we last saw Finn (Cory Monteith), he was heartbroken, aimless and stuck in a rut in Lima. Thankfully, Artie (Kevin McHale) asks him to direct McKinley’s fall musical Grease — and subsequently, gives Finn something to live for. Hallelujah! Broody Finn is kind of annoying.

Note: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode, “The Role You Were Born to Play.”

But poor Finn is still kind of aimless. Cue Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike Chang’s (Harry Shum Jr.) return! They even got a slow-motion walk down the hallway. With a vocal coach and choreographer in place, Finn can totally start casting Sandy and Danny, right? If he only knew where to start… Enter clueless Finn. At least Coach Bieste (Dot Jones) was there to pull Finn out of his one-man pity party.

In search of the perfect male lead, Finn goes scouting in the only logical place: The football field. Enter Ryder Lynn (Blake Jenner), a McKinley football player with a “lazy streak.” He’d much rather break dance in the end zone than actually score a touchdown.

Ladies, Ryder is kind of adorkable. If you’ve seen Season 2 of The Glee Project (just me?), then you know what I’m talking about. So, Finn heads to study hall to convince Ryder to try out for the school musical. And yes, the scene is very reminiscent of Mr. Schue convincing Finn to join New Directions on Season 1.

Although he’s apprehensive at first — I mean, the poor kid hasn’t even had time to see The Dark Knight Rises – one duet with Finn and suddenly Ryder is ready for some grease lightning. Also, Finn and Ryder’s cover of Foreigner’s “Juke Box Hero” was pretty much GYRATION STATION. And with that performance, Glee has fulfilled its rock ‘n’ roll number quota.

Now, we already know Ryder struggles with dyslexia, and as his storyline progresses, we’re definitely in store for more emotional Finn/Ryder (Rynn?) scenes. I, for one, can’t wait to see their friendship develop.

Of course, there’s another relationship blossoming on the horizon. With some newfound swagger, Ryder introduces himself to Marley (Melissa Benoist), Finn’s pick to play Sandy. “Your mom rules,” he tells her. Oh my God. That’s too cute. She’s blushing; I’m blushing. This is just all too perfect. Jarley, what? Just kidding… sort of.

All giddiness aside, I really do like the chemistry between Jake and Marley. She’s the sweet, innocent good girl, and he’s the bad boy with a chip on his shoulder. This is the stuff romantic comedies are made of! However, there’s something familiar about pairing Marley with Ryder. He could make her smile, and she could help him read, and they could be Finchel 2.0!

But I digress, Jake is less than happy with this new development. So Kitty (a.k.a Baby Kristin Chenoweth) convinces Jake (Jacob Artist) to audition for the school musical with her.

Elsewhere, Marley and Unique are busy being McKinley’s cutest new BFFs. (I shall call them Uniquely.) Unique is dying to play Rizzo, the “heartless b**** with a heart of gold.” However, Sue (Jane Lynch) is being a major buzz kill. She dubs them ”Tina Stomach Turner” and “Absolutely Stunning Kind-Faced Blue-Eyed Girl.” Even Sue can’t find anything mean to say to Marley. She’s pretty much Sue’s kryptonite.

Sue doesn’t want Unique to play Rizzo. She even goes so far as to threaten Finn. Sue thinks if they cast Unique as Rizzo, it’s not fair to Unique, who will have to handle the public ridicule.

But for Unique, this is just another roadblock on her way to acceptance. ”It sucks to feel like you never know your place,” Wade tells Finn. CUE TEARS. Alex Newell, you are the second best thing to happen to Glee Season 4 (right after Blaine being cast as Teen Angel).

You can say what you want about Glee’s major continuity problems and lack of character development, but when it comes to LGBT issues — whether it be Karofsky, Kurt’s coming out, his relationship with his dad and Blaine, Santana’s coming out and her relationship with Brittany — this series is game changing. And Unique’s story could be the series’ most important storyline yet.

In the end, Finn does the right thing and casts Unique as Rizzo. The McKinley High production of Grease stars Brittany as Cha-Cha, Sugar as Frenchie (so perfect!), Tina as Jan, Sam as Kenickie, Joe as Doody, Blaine as Teen Angel (even more perfect!), Jake as Putzie, Ryder as Danny, and Marley as Sandy. Poor Kitty gets stuck with Patty Simcox.

But that’s not Finn’s only huge decision. With Mr. Schue headed to Washington — with or without Emma! — he tells Finn he wants him to take over the glee club. UM, WHAT? This is a brilliant idea for two reasons: 1. No more Mr. Schue. I mean, of course, we’ll have to deal with him for holidays and special occasions, but that’s OK. 2. It gives Finn something to do that isn’t just directing a high school musical.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: When Finn called Sue’s baby “retarded,” I nearly lost it. Every once in a while, Finn’s tongue works faster than his brain. Remember when he outed Santana in the hallway? Not so becoming, Finn.

Thank you, TV gods: For one episode without going back-and-forth between New York and McKinley. Don’t get me wrong: I love Kurt and sometimes, I even love Rachel, but it was nice to spend an entire hour at McKinley.

Awk-ward: Ouch Jake. Losing your girl to a total Glee newbie is rough. Luckily, I’m a sucker for a good high school love triangle. Also, Tina, how’s your “Make Change Forever” tattoo looking these days?

Hotness: Blaine as Teen Angel is pretty much music to my ears. Anyone else?

Fab-u-lous: Unique as Rizzo! Now that is a scene I can’t wait to see.

Over in Paris, Kate Hudson touched down at Roissy Airport with her kids Bingham and Ryder in tow. The 33-year-old stayed fashionably relevant in a pair of knee-high fringe boots.

Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katy Perry and Alessandra Ambrosio were among the stylish A-listers pushing the sartorial boundaries in everything from daring dresses and flirty frocks to fashion-forward jumpsuits and even shorts.

Which stars took a risk that paid off — and which fashion rebels missed the mark?

The night’s clear winner, Hudson was on fire, sizzling in a revealing red dress by Prabal Gurung. The figure-hugging gown’s plunging neckline left little to the imagination, but the draped cut-out sleeves kept the look from being all about Kate’s cleavage.

Ambrosio also rocked a sexy curve-hugging  Zuhair Murad gown. The fitted corset and column silhouette highlighted the Victoria’s Secret model’s curves, while the train added just the right amount of drama, which was further heightened by the corseted back.

SJP took a different kind of risk, donning a vintage Chanel black jumpsuit. Though jumpsuits can be hard to pull off, the Sex and the City actress rocked the fashion-forward look with aplomb. A fitted bodice balanced out the black one-piece’s billowy bottoms and prevented the petite star from getting lost in the style. A tassel necklace added a modern finish to the monochromatic look.

Also shunning a dress in favor of a two-legged style, Rose McGowan, in short shorts and sheer tights, came up … well, short. While shorts can work for night, especially when worn with a fancier top and tights, the sequined jacket and sheer tights were more Rockette than red carpet.

Although we’re fans of Perry’s new sophisticated take on the feminine accents and candy-colored hues she favors, her dusty gray and pink floral dress was a step backward. The singer appeared to be stuck in limbo between the ladylike looks in her future and the girly costumes of her past, with girly accents galore — floral appliques, ruffled neckline and sparkly belt — decorating the more sophisticated silhouette.
