Katy Perry looks lovely inside the pages of Vogue‘s latest issue, plus, she’s divulging some interesting tidbits about her past relationships to the famed fashion mag.

The 28-year-old singer discusses her music career, her upbringing, and former loves John Mayer and Russell Brand in the revealing cover story.

One piece of information about the end of her 14 month marriage to Brand stands out.

“He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him,” Katy says of her ex-husband. “Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011.”

Ouch.

Perry goes on to explain, “I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that.”

The brunette bombshell also talks about her relationship with on-again-off-again boyfriend, John Mayer. She confessed to Vogue, “I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him.”

“All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind,” she continues regarding the “Your Body Is a Wonderland” crooner. “Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”

Vogue’s latest cover girl, Katy Perry, is revealing her beauty routine to the fashion mag (and the entire world) in a recently released video.

In the clip, Katy starts out without any makeup up all and goes from from drab to fab right before our very eyes.

The “Firework” singer discusses how her beauty look has evolved, saying, “We used to like to do dramatic makeup, but I think we are coming into the more age appropriate field of experimenting.”

We still spot a little drama goin’ on when it comes to Perry’s done-up appearance — just wait until you see the final product.

Katy also remarks on how she used to be insecure about her skin and reveals which facial features she is particularly fond of.

The 28-year-old entertainer says, “My brows and my eyes are what I think frame my whole face. I have alright lips and alright cheekbones, but they’re no, like showoffs.”

Through the lens of famed shutterbug Annie Leibovitz, Perry is stripped of her saccharine-pop image to reveal a refined, romantic look. She effuses ethereal beauty in a red, white and blue floral appliquéd Rodarte dress — fitting for a July issue — with her raven hair blowing behind her porcelain face.

From Hollywood to London, the last 24 hours have been packed with plenty of star sightings, with the men leading the way.

Each year the Met Gala brings us the best and, more entertainingly, the worst in celebrity haute couture. This year’s punk theme promised some major misses and, oh boy, did our favorite famous people ever deliver.

There were quite a few runners-up. Cameron Diaz‘s odd cape and Vera Wang‘s self-censored nightmare nearly made the list. But alas, they were topped by these ten truly terrible ensembles.

The “Wide Awake” crooner channeled royalty for Monday night’s 2013 Met Gala, kicking off the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition in Dolce & Gabbana style.

Dearest hockey fans in Canada, USA and beyond, it’s officially day one of the 2013 National Hockey League playoffs.

Some of Hollywood’s finest have surely secured their VIP seats for teams like the New York Rangers (Spike Lee), the Vancouver Canucks (Cory Monteith, Cobie Smulders) and the Chicago Blackhawks (Vince Vaughn), teams that will vie for Lord Stanley’s Cup this year.
