She may be twice her age, but Kelly Bensimon is giving Kate Upton a run for her money.

The former star of The Real Housewives of New York City flaunted her enviable figure, as she strutted along West Palm Beach in Florida wearing the same white Letarte bikini Upton wore on her second Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.

Despite turning heads in the sexy suit, the 44-year-old admitted to fans that she can’t hold a candle to the buxom blonde.

“That’s the kate upton @LetarteSwimwear bikini. I’m sucking it in and freezing,” she tweeted to a fan about the white-hot suit.

Kelly Killoren Bensimon wants to get an advanced degree — but not the old-fashioned way.

“I decided to feed my mind with education, and instead of going to a bigger school, I wanted to show the rest of the world that everyone can get educated online,” the 44-year-old Columbia grad told Celebuzz at Saturday’s 2013 Kettleball Kickboxing Fitness Gala in New York City. “So I chose Northeastern University [in Boston.]”

When the former fashion model isn’t hitting the books, she’s writing them. Bensimon also told us that she has a new book coming out, titled In the Spirit of the Hamptons, just in time for Memorial Day. And this isn’t her first time being published — her recent titles include The Bikini Book and I Can Make You Hot!: The Supermodel Diet.

Kelly Bensimon wants to clear the air: she was just doing her job as a reality TV star.

For three seasons, the author, jewelry designer and former model duked it out with her Real Housewives of New York cast mates, including Bethenny Frankel. One of their epic showdowns still stands as one of the series’ highest-rated episodes.

“We were cast mates on a television show, I have absolutely no issues with her,” Bensimon told Celebuzz on Saturday at the 2013 Kettleball Kickboxing Fitness Gala in New York City.

“They asked me to blast her . . . I got paid, and I did. That doesn’t mean I don’t like her, it’s just like, that’s what you do.”

Bensimon also opened up about Frankel’s recent divorce from Jason Hoppy.

“I obviously empathize with everyone that’s going through a horrible time, especially a divorce,” she said.

“It’s a very, very difficult time.”

The Rockford, Ill. native also gave her opinion on reality TV and what she had to fight for on Housewives.

“Coming to New York was such a big dream for me, and I really didn’t like how they were shattering these dreams on how awesome New York was. I was very proactive about making it clear that New York is an amazing city and women are not like [The Real Housewives] in New York.”

What’s Kelly Bensimon’s secret to staying slim?

The 44-year-old The Real Housewives of New York alum explained it plain and simple: “If you’re gonna eat more, exercise more,” Bensimon told Celebuzz at Jingle Ball in New York. “It’s really common sense.”

But holiday season can make that rule of thumb a bit more tricky.

“I go to these parties and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ll have a couple of extra cookies,’” she said.

The mother-of-two — and former model, fashion designer, and editor of ELLE accessories who was featured in Celebuzz’s 101 Hot Bodies for her exceptionally sculpted physique — said that the key to getting your butt to the gym is to focus on the benefits.

“I know you don’t want to exercise more, but it actually makes you feel better. So when you do go to the parties, you’re more engaged,” she added.

Former Real Housewives of New York City cast member Kelly Bensimon has sold her East Hampton home – but the sale came with a gigantic price cut.

Originally listed for $12 million, the two-story mansion, which includes five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a heated pool and an artist’s studio, sold last week for $5.76 million, the New York Daily News reports.

Bensimon, 44, bought the house in the 1980s.

“She wasn’t sure she really wanted to sell the house, so we put it on [sale] for an absurd amount of money. We rented it for great prices two summers in a row. She just felt now was the right time to sell . . . it’s time to move on,” Enzo Morabito, who represented Bensimon in the sale, told the Daily News.

The rustic property spans 1.2 acres, with interior space totaling some 5,800 square feet.

Other highlights include a pond, “oversized” bonus guest room, powder room, a master suite with a fireplace and private terrace and ample entertaining space.

Bensimon, who was on The Real Housewives of New York City from Seasons 2 to 4, released a lifestyle book, I Can Make You Hot, earlier this year.

From the front row to the runway, New York Fashion Week has been buzzing with plenty of celebrity sightings since day one.

Saturday’s Jill Stuart show was no different.

The designer got some star support from the likes of Rose Byrne and The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon.

The stylish ladies where not the only ones on hand for the show.

Other front-row patrons included model Cory Kennedy, Stuart’s daughter Sophie and rapper Theophilus London, who rocked dark red pants at the show.

Byrne, 33, donned a gorgeous black and lace dress while Bensimon opted for a print dress, complete with green heels.

The star power at New York Fashion Week is expected to continue at full throttle on Sunday, as Victoria Beckham’s line hits the runway.

At age 44, single lady Kelly Bensimon is still strutting her stuff, as was seen this weekend when she stepped out in a scantily-clad grey swimsuit at at TAO in Las Vegas, where all eyes were on her long, long, legs.

Between the dinners with her girlfriends and sexy photo ops, the former Real Housewives of New York City star cooled off in a cabana in the City of Sin while signing copies of her latest book I Can Make You Hot for fans, all the while tweeting up a storm.

“Its gonna be fun tonight in Vegas. Whos ready?” she wrote at the start of her weekend.

Bensimon was also spotted sipping on Hpnotiq cocktails and jumping in the DJ booth to dance to DJ Lema’s music while showing off her fit physique.

Kelly Bensimon admits that she wasn’t that surprised when Bravo fired her from The Real Housewives of New York.

“I was kind of expecting it,” she tells Celebuzz. “By season four I didn’t want to play the game but Bravo was amazing. They didn’t pressure me to be with anyone, they let me be myself and as a result people said, ‘She’s the voice of reason.’ I just did the scenes I wanted to do and walked out when I felt like it.”

After her departure, the 44-year-old quickly went on to pen her new book, I Can Make You Hot! in which she claims, “everyone is inherently hot and through all the mistakes I’ve made and my experts, I can make anyone hot.”

The book came about when the single mother of two discovered that her fanmail were always filled personal questions about where she got her hair done or what she ate for breakfast and what she was wearing, rather than her spat with Ramona Singer or Bethenny Frankel. She soon realized that there was a book there.

The 6 foot stunner says that when she started modeling she was pressured to always lose ten pounds.

“So I made a lot of mistakes like just eating one apple a day and going on the white diet which was eating white food all day long or juicing and then eating carbs afterwards and being in a food coma,” she recalls. “So there are a lot of really bad diet mistakes that I’ve made along the way.”

Bensimon explains that her book is an “eating plan, an eating uniform.” She says we should all treat our bodies like a Ferrari which means fueling your body sensibly, drinking lots of water and exercising every day but having one day off a week to enjoy the foods you like but shouldn’t have every day.

As for her famous stage four breakdown?

“I want to apologize to all the fans,” she says. “I wish I had never said it was a break through. I want to apologize to the fans for not being open and honest and saying. ‘Listen I was in a situation that I didn’t feel comfortable with. There were things that were happening that I didn’t want to be a part of. I really regret on the reunion for being evasive.”

Even though she did receive a lot of flak for her ‘break-through’, Kelly doesn’t regret being on the show at all.

“It was an amazing platform,” she says. “I wouldn’t be on the phone with you today if it wasn’t for Housewives. Also, I think it was a really good experience to show girls that you don’t have to be friends with everybody and there‘s nothing wrong with having your own opinion. If you don’t like someone, you can tell them, ‘I really don’t appreciate you talking to me like that.’ I got a ton of flack for being well-grounded and having a lot of integrity but I don’t care.”

The former Real Housewives of New York City star Kelly Bensimon was vacationing in Miami on Monday when her quick dip in the water turned into a little more than she expected!

Bensimon, 44, had a wardrobe malfunction, showing off much more than just her bikini while having some fun in the sun.

However, she was quick to remedy the situation:

Fortunately, Bensimon realized her little “slip-up” and covered herself with her hand. Just not quick enough! It’s nice to see that she can laugh it off and enjoy the rest of her day.

Though she’s no longer on The Real Housewives of New York City, supermodel Kelly Bensimon is still a busy woman. Case in point: She’s currently promoting her fourth (!) book, the lifestyle guide I Can Make You HOT! The Supermodel Diet, in which she dishes on all of the healthy diet and nutrition secrets she learned throughout her life.

Kelly, of course, is also a mother of two daughters — Sea, 12, and Teddy, 9 — from her previous marriage to photographer Gilles Bensimon. And while she’s actively writing and promoting her book, Kelly — who is single — says she’s still dating, and still has high hopes for her love life.

As she tells Celebuzz exclusively:

Right after I got divorced, I went on Housewives and I met some guys in New York who were not exactly great people with good intentions. I had a really, really difficult time navigating through the dating scene, just because, for some reason, being on television attracts the wrong people … I want to expose [my daughters] to people I care about, not people who are trying to take me for a ride. As a result, I’m really strict about dating, and I’m really strict about who I walk around with and who I introduce my children to.

Still, despite a few bumps in the road, Kelly — who is about to celebrate her 44th birthday — says her daughters actively encourage her to get out there on the dating scene.

“[My daughters are] like, you and daddy aren’t going to get married. You need to find a boyfriend and have a life,” she added. “They want a sibling. They want [me to have] a baby so badly,” she said.

“My youngest is, like, mommy, I think you should date that lifeguard,” she quipped. “I’m like, ‘He’s 18 years old. He’s seven years older than you. He could be my son.”

Kelly, who admits she never thought she’d get divorced, says that she, too, wants to get married again someday.

“I just want to have a photo album filled with a husband, a wife and babies and kids and dogs and just a real life that I grew up with. That’s what I want for my kids, and that’s what I’m really looking for,” she said.

“I feel good. When you feel good, good things happen, right?” she said.

Obviously, Kelly has every reason to feel good, due in great part to the success of I Can Make You HOT! As Kelly explains, the lifestyle guide — which hit stands on Tuesday — is “more about nurturing and less about starvation.”

“I’m from the Midwest,” she said. “We don’t starve. We drink beer, we hang out with friends, we laugh …We have a great time.”

“I really want to encourage everyone to have a healthy relationship with food,” she said. “People are talking about friendships with boundaries — [This is] food with boundaries,” she said.

With a helpful, seven-day guide, Kelly — who has teamed up with Hpnotiq for her book tour — offers a number of fun tips and recipes in HOT! (Short for “Healthy Options Today”) on how to achieve a healthy relationship with food.

Splash of cranberry juice

“Being on Housewives was a blessing and a curse – especially for my dating life. A lot of people wouldn’t take me seriously, and I don’t blame them. Seriously, what awesome guy wants to be reprimanded by women they don’t even know? That was the not-so-hot part of reality TV,” she laments. “I would love to get married to someone that is a partner and is in it with me and not for the publicity.”

While she’s still dating and looking for Mr. Right, she has plenty of post-Housewives plans, revealing she wants to have more children.

“My dating life is fun. I’m having a good time and hopefully I’ll meet the man of my dreams and have a little baby boy! That is on my bucket list. I want to have another baby.”

In the meantime, Kelly is working on her new book, I Can Make You Hot, which comes out in Spring 2012. It won’t have any Housewives gossip though – instead the book focuses on her past mistakes and the positive things she’s learned from each experience.

After weeks of rumors, it’s official: Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City is losing over half its cast. Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord will not be returning for the 5th season. In an official statement, a Bravo spokesperson said:

“Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn De Lesseps will be returning for season five of The Real Housewives of New York City. We’ve had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers. It is a friendly departure among the other ladies and we continue to have on-going discussions with them.”

Last week, news hit that the gals were axed from the hit reality show. The Huffington Post first reported that “the women were directly contacted by Bravo… they had no idea the pink slips were headed their way.” Ouch!

Is Bravo is making some changes to the cast of Real Housewives of NYC? Not necessarily, Kelly Bensimon‘s rep tells Celebuzz.

Reports have been surfacing that Bravo is getting rid of not only Kelly, but Jill Zarin and Alex McCord, in a serious revamp of the hit Bravo series.

Jill’s rep responded with a similar answer, telling us, “Discussions between Jill and Bravo are ongoing and no final decisions have been made.”

Insiders initially told the Huffington Post that they “have all be let go from the series and will not be returning as fulltime cast members next season. The source explained that the women were directly contacted by Bravo on Thursday morning with the news — they had no idea the pink slips were headed their way.”

We guess we’ll just have to wait and see if these ladies were indeed let go.
