Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Mark Salling from Glee.

The hunky star ditched his dancing shoes for a superhero costume while shooting scenes for the Fox show.

Sporting a red mohawk, fake abs and a black cape, Salling — who plays the part of Noah “Puck” Puckerman — walked around the set smirking and at one point even kissing his own biceps.

Where in the world was he?

Hiding his mini mohawk beneath the faux red one, the 30-year-old was parading up and down the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The new scenes  hint that Puck’s latest money-making scheme is posing with tourists for tips. In a past Glee episode, he made extra cash working as a pool boy.

As casting for Universal’s Fifty Shades of Grey slowly gets underway, everyone — including Celebuzz – has an opinion on who should play leads Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. However, the supporting characters are just as important!

Jose Rodriguez is Ana’s good friend from college, and while he may want more, she only sees him in a platonic way. Think of him as Jacob from Twilight.

Jose, who attended college with Ana (so 21, 22), is a photographer. Physically, here is how he’s described in the book:

“He’s tall. He’s all shoulders and muscles, tanned skin, dark hair and burning dark eyes.”

The first person that comes to mind is Mark Salling, 29. The Glee star matches Jose’s physical description exactly, and he totally has the edgy photographer thing going on. Celebuzz is told Mark’s name has been in consideration along with Vampire Diaries star Michael Trevino, 27.

While Trevino definitely has the attitude and look, it’s almost like he’s too pretty. Hello– wouldn’t Ana have hooked up with him in college? Plus, we are pretty on board with his Vampire Diaries counterpart Ian Somerhalder to play Christian Grey, so doubtful both of those sexy stars would get cast.

Double take!

It looks like Mark Salling, who plays bad boy Puck on Glee, will be channeling Darren Criss‘ uber-preppy character Blaine for an upcoming episode. A number of actors from the cast from the hit FOX show (including Cory Monteith in a cape!) were seen on set of the show in LA on Monday.

We have to admit, it’s kind of nice to see Mark, 29, rock another hairstyle besides that mohawk!

Both Cory and Mark spent their weekends at the hip music festival Coachella, and Mark tweeted about how much fun he had!

Cory’s gal pal Lea Michele was also there, where she dished to Celebuzz about Lauren Conrad‘s topless Glamour shoot. She told us (and Lauren!)

“You’re looked like Bridget Bardot! I felt like it was so sexy. When I was reading it in public, I had to hide it. I was reading it at the airport (and I had to) fold it back because I felt uncomfortable!”

Rocking a sleeveless tee, the Glee hottie was seen flashing his beefy biceps when he stepped out to host a daytime pool party in Las Vegas on Saturday. 

With warm weather bound our way, we have no doubt that many more celebs will be showing off their buff bods in the near future. In fact, Mark Wahlberg to Jersey Shore‘s DJ Pauly D are already proudly baring their hard-earned muscles for all to see!

Not to rub it in or anything, but we told you so. The new hotspot in Las Vegas is the Lily Bar & Lounge at Bellagio! 

 The upscale cocktail lounge drew a huge crowd — and some celebrity favorites!

Glee bad boy Mark Salling was on hand, as well as Cee Lo Green, Whitney Port and Eliza Dushku, who was joined by boyfriend Rick Fox.

The Midnight hour hosted a special performance by Robin Thicke, who surprised guests with a live set behind a mini grand piano, including his song “Lost Without You.”

The rest of the night’s music was provided by DJ Alexandra Richards.

Who says bros can’t cuddle?

While taking a break from filming Glee on Tuesday, it appears as though Chord Overstreet was trying to keep Mark Salling warm during an unusually cold December morning in Southern California. Their new co-star and The Glee Project winner Damian McGinty, is the one responsible for snapping (and tweeting) this adorable photo. And for that which, we thank him!

Or maybe Mark is just tuckered out from hitting up the New Year’s Eve premiere on Monday night?

The stars were out last night! The guest list at the Monday night premiere of New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles, Calif. boasted super sexy starlets and Hollywood’s handsomest actors. 

This is no surprise considering that the NYE cast alone is chock full of familiar faces. Females in the film and at premiere include Michelle Pfeiffer, Katherine Heigl, Sofia Vergara and Lea Michele. As for the males, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron and Ashton Kutcher showed up for the premiere.

Other celebs to hit the red carpet Monday night included Fergie (by her husband Josh’s side) and Glee guys Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Darren Criss and Kevin McHale.  

The boys are back in town!

Glee actors Mark Salling, Kevin McHale, and Harry Shum Jr. tried their luck in Las Vegas Saturday night. The boys were in Sin City to attend the premiere of Michael Jackson: THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque du Soleil.

Of course, these Gleeks are no stranger to the King of Pop!

The Glee cast had famously covered MJ’s iconic “Thriller” (mashed together with The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll”) on their hit TV show. Check out the guys paying tribute below!

Mark recently had a little accident as well. The mohawk’d actor injured his hip playing basketball. He told fans:

“its not that bad, i can still walk and even run but sitting and getting up is excruciating. can i get some crylenol? or maybe some sadvil?”

Glad to see that he’s feeling better now!

Oh no! One of our favorite Gleeks, Mark Salling, has fractured his pelvis. He took to Twitter on Thursday posting the “glamourous” photo above, and thanked fans for their kind remarks.

So how did it happen? And is his production schedule affected?

Playing basketball! A friend of Mark’s tells us that the Glee star has a hairline fracture, but is working through the pain, and it really only hurts when he sits down.

Aside from heading to the doctor when it happened, Glee and his shooting schedule won’t be affected.

Such a trooper– feel better Mark!

While many dread dentist check-ups, it seems as though celebrities care just as much about dental hygiene as the rest of us!

Nina Dobrev tweeted this pic of herself while getting ready to undergo the dreaded wisdom teeth surgery and said:

“:( aikaramba!! Here goes.. Nervous. But peasantlyLoopy.Don’t like needles or blood. This is not going to be fun. Yikes”

Getting your wisdom teeth removed a couple days before Thanksgiving? That doesn’t sound like the best planning if you ask us!

It looks like there’s a new addition to the Glee family!

Mark Salling recently got himself an Australian cattle dog, and tweeted this adorbs photo of the two getting a little shut eye. Not only is the dog’s name very Glee-centered, but one of his co-stars helped pick the name!

So, what’s the moniker that was chosen? And who picked it out?

A pal from the Glee set tells us that this adorable four-legged friend is named Noah! That’s right, as in Noah “Puck” Puckerman — his bad boy Glee character! And none other than Lea Michele is the one to thank for it, as they also told us she was the one who came up with the name.

Too adorable!
