‘Robopocalypse’ No More: Steven Spielberg Nixes Sci-Fi Picture

Steven Spielberg has pulled the plug on his next project.

Robopocalypse, a big-screen adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson’s bestselling sci-fi novel, has been postponed indefinitely, DreamWorks announced Wednesday.

According to Spielberg’s spokesperson Marvin Levy, the film was “too important and the script is not ready, and it’s too expensive to produce.
